You do not know true awkwardness (this goes for myself I'm sure theres much more awkward situations out there. Like when you make a joke and then find out ten seconds later that it was incredibly tactless with added context.) til you have to ask a classmate who you almost never talk to to sign a paper for you so you can go to a club because time is not on your side with this one but this also means you're kinda reliant on him being there so you essentially made yourself this guys responsibility for the evening and because you're the least socially competent person you know you also couldn't go about it in a normal chill way but had to trip over your words likw thrice and all you got was the mostindescript "yeah sure i can do that" so you also now have no clue if this was actually fine or of this was just being polite and he actually hates your guts but has the decency to not act like it.

#the problem is that i always assume everybody automatically lies because they're polite thats what you do when you're polite #and i know that because say what you want but I have incredible manners i have that down to a t I love conforming to social rules #people think I'm this incredibly nice amd kind person I'm really not I'm just very polite #great way to get through life horrible quality to have when you just know that thats how people work #most of them won't be rude because being polite is easier #but i assumed we got on okay-ish at least because we had a good conversation once #granted he had like five beers and it was nearing one in the morning but like. it was fun. #i think it was the beers I'm not that likeable of a person but like. it was chill I assumed alcohol or not that it wouldn't have been chill #had he actively disliked me #confronted about this this isn't anything I've seen in the media how does one deal here #hmmm. i shall just continue to feel akward about my cringefail can't actually talk that well because he barely talks swag #and hope it won't kill me
