( o3o) Happy birthday son! ( u3u) -hands him a black giftbox with a shiny blue ribbon.- Inside is a Grayson Tighe Alien Mystic Fountain Pen. ( o3o) Every ink should have a pen. ( n2n) The pen an ink is special to them, the way it is designed reflects their personality and interests.You can have more than one of course, but we usually have a favorite. It can change thoughout your life as you do too- few things remain the same. However, when I saw this one, it made me think of you. When you put your ink in it, it looks really neat!!! ( o3o) Writing is one of the ways we are able to use our special abilities. You can practice with this. Like monsters with their fonts, our scripting skill is unique to us and a source of pride as well.  ( u2u) I… I hope you like it. And um. If you’d like to learn things about how to use it I could… maybe… show you sometime. -Ink seems unsure if he would like the gift. Many of the newer inks did not embrace their species innate skills or ancestry. Perhaps she shouldn’t have left that out of the book.-

He would blush a bit, flattered that someone would have put so much thought into a present. He looked down at the gift box, setting it gently on his gift pile.

“W-wow, thanks Inky!” He would give them a reassuring pat. “Honestly, it’s a wicked present! Especially with such a badass name- ‘Alien Mystic’. Heh.” “Vainglory would love to learn more about it sometime! When he’s not celebrating his birthday or running away from monsters, of course. But seriously, thanks! Vainglory thinks it’s a great present.” Despite what he was saying, he hadn’t exactly looked into the box to see what the pen looked like. Of course, he already knew it was great just because of the inktopus’ explanation.
