(OK, I’ll admit that I’m exaggerating just a bit and taking things out of context, but the bottom line is that you can learn a lot just from researching the same animal from different languages of the Wikipedia!

#honestly I somewhat prefer the japanese entries to the english entries of the wiki #though the English wiki is by far the most organized (even if it's plenty imperfect) #still the Japanese wikis tend to be limited by location #while the English wiki has a ton of stubs of jellyfish from all across the world #Japan tends to only do the well-known jellies (and only really elaborates on the local species- which i can't fault them for but for those- #-who want to learn more about jellyfish. they'd probably find it easier to go to the English Wiki) #honestly tho the english wiki does include more sources #i'm a lil sad that the japanese wiki didn't include a source that detailed the jellyfish's life cycle from Hokkaido University #i'm sure they would've released that study in japanese too... sigh :( #though it also includes information from the 110 jellyfish encyclopedia WHICH IS MAKING ME SEETHE BECAUSE !!
