had the dance been avoided, jace as the rightful heir to queen rhaenyra would've had so much scary dog privilege, like it's actually insane when you think abt it. assuming the greens and blacks were peaceful and loving, jace's enemies would've had daemon, aemond, baela, luke, joff, AND cregan to contend with (to say nothing of aegon and rhaena holding king's landing/the nobles by their metaphorical balls). jace already has the future king's disposition, honor, and competency but even if he didn't he would've been set for life regardless😭😭
