Femslash Feb Day 4 - Field - Rarity/Applejack
one of the best femslash ships EVERRR
thats right i said it
Brief Summary: Applejack hadn't expected Rarity to show up in high heels when she'd said they'd be going to pick apples.
Word Count: 364
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (22 spots left)
“Applejack!” Rarity called forward to the other girl, who was already several feet ahead of her. “Can we please slow down?”
Applejack rolled her eyes a little, but slowed her pace. “Ya know, you really shouldn’ta worn high heels when you knew you were comin’ to visit my family’s farm.”
“Yes, but,” Rarity walked forward gingerly, “I thought we were going to be in the house. Not in a field. You could have warned me.”
“I told ya I wanted you to have some of the apples that just got ripe.” Applejack walked forward a bit, then waited.
“Well,” Rarity continued walking forward with all of the grace of a baby horse, “I thought they would have been picked already. And I wanted to look nice for your family.”
Applejack looked down at herself. She was wearing dirty overalls and a shirt that she’d owned since the sixth grade. Rarity, on the other hand, was wearing a nice dress and shiny silver heels. “You really didn’t have to dress up,” Applejack pushed the point one more time before relenting, “but I’ll admit it. You look nice.”
Rarity smiled, her cheeks flushing. She quickly looked away from Applejack, towards where the trees were. Applejack could see her brow furrowing from how much further they had to walk. Quickly, before Rarity could say anything about it, Applejack strode behind her and scooped her up in her arms bridal style.
“Applejack!” Rarity yelped, thrashing around. “Put me down!”
“I’m carryin’ you.” Applejack said, smirking at her. “And I don’t wanna hear no complainin’. If I didn’t do this, we’d probably never make it.” Ah shoot, Rarity also looked so cute now that she was pouting. It was fun seeing her all flustered.
Rarity humphed, but gave in. “Very well.” Applejack could see that she had a little smile on her face though. She always liked being treated like a princess
The two continued on to the apple trees, with Applejack’s arms only protesting a little. It was worth it, though. They had delicious apples, and no one got a twisted ankle. And besides, a little pain was worth it when Rarity was just so gosh darn cute.

Femslash Feb Day 3 - Cake - Darling/Apple
I LOVE THEM SOOOO MUCH
this was so fun to right and im really happy with how it turned out
Brief Summary: Darling had definitely missed putting some ingredient in, because their cake for Princessology class had turned out fairy flat.
Word Count: 600
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (25 spots left)
Another day in Princessology class. Today, the students were in pairs of two and assigned to make cakes. Which seemed like it should have been easier than it was.
“Darling!” Apple coughed as she pulled the cake out of the oven, her head surrounded by smoke. “The cake is totally flat!”
“Oh dear!” Darling rushed over to check. “I thought I put everything in it.”
Apple set the cake down on the stove. Totally unusable. There was no way they were passing this assignment. She took in a deep breath and put on a confident smile. “Let’s go through the ingredients together, okay? I know we had the flour, because I did that. What about the sugar?”
“I’m sure I added that,” Darling mused.
“And the eggs?” Apple continued.
Darling’s eyes got wide. “Let me look,” she said nervously, walking over to the fridge. Reaching her hand in, Darling pulled out three completely unused eggs. Her eyes darted around nervously. “It seems I… forgot those.”
Apple pressed the smile more firmly on her face. It wasn’t very princesslike to be visibly upset. “Well, we’re out of time to redo it. We’ll just have to try again next time.”
“I’m sorry.” Darling bent down and put the eggs away. “I’m just not very good at baking.”
Apple picked up the cake and shook it out in the trash can. “Didn’t you bake when you were little? With your mom? My mom always made the most beautiful desserts.” She trailed off, fantasizing about those wonderful apple pies.
Darling looked visibly nervous. “I’m afraid my attempts usually turn out like this. You know what they say though… everyone has different skills.”
Apple had moved over to the sink, scrubbing out the pan. “Well, in order to be a princess, you’ll have to just work on some of those skills. No one ever heard of a princess who can’t bake.” She laughed a little, before noticing that Darling was deadly quiet. Apple glanced over at her. “Oh, come on. It can’t be that bad.” She dried her hands on a towel and approached the other girl. “I’m sure there are lots of parts of being a princess you’re good at.”
Darling nodded. “Yes… definitely.” She sounded less than confident.
Apple ran through some of the class lessons in her mind. Definitely not baking. And Darling wasn’t very good at being a damsel in distress. She was very restless. And she wasn’t amazing at needlepoint…
While she was thinking, Darling had started looking fairy freaked out. Time for some emergency comforting. Apple reached over and put a hand on Darling’s shoulder. “Well, I know one thing.” She smiled again. “You’re very pretty. That’s a good trait for a princess to have.”
Darling’s cheeks suddenly got very flushed. She looked down at Apple’s hand, then suddenly walked away to the sink, picking up the pan and the dish towel. She coughed a few times before speaking, and her voice seemed a bit high pitched. “Well, I can also clean up my own mess,” she laughed, with a very airy tone.
Something seemed off, but Apple didn’t really know what was going on. She walked over to the sink and began joining Darling in cleaning. “Well,” Apple continued, “cleaning is a good trait for a princess too. And there’s other things, like knowing how to ride a horse, and being able to…”
As she continued talking, Darling’s mind was far away, still thinking about what Apple had said just a few minutes ago. She’d called her pretty. And for some reason, that made Darling feel fairy flustered.

Femslash Feb Day 1 - Black - Sunset/SciTwi
YAYYY FEMSLASH FEB 2024!!!
starting off the month nice and easy with a classic fave
Brief Summary: Sunset had been certain that her heart was shriveled up and black. That is... until she'd met Twilight.
Word Count: 375
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (26 spots left)
For years, Sunset had thought she had some shriveled up, black little heart. It didn’t seem like it worked how it should. She was so filled with hate all of the time. She didn’t trust anyone. She’d become a horrible, cruel person, who would yell at someone before even knowing them.
She hadn’t been like that when she was younger. Back when she was a pony, she remembered being so excited about learning. She’d loved getting to work with Celestia and her goals had been so immense. Then, she’d let everything get so twisted, to the point where it felt like she was a lost cause. All that she wanted was power, and she was okay with hurting others to get it. No one who had a heart would do that.
But then she’d met Twilight. Well, Twilights. There were two of them, the pony and the human. It was hard meeting someone who had flourished where she had failed. The pony Twilight had everything Sunset had wanted. But she was still captivated by her. She was in awe of her skills at making friends, and of course, her brilliant mind. There was just so much baggage between them, both being students of Celestia. Sometimes it felt insurmountable.
The human Twilight was untainted by all of that. She was still brilliant, but reclusive. She wasn’t a living example of how Sunset had failed. And somehow, that made Sunset grow a deep fondness for her. She was able to help this Twilight succeed and be her mentor. But she could also learn so much from her. Twilight helped her to achieve amazing things, but only by working together.
It wasn’t totally easy for both of them to trust each other and get along. Their first meetings had also been pretty rocky, what with the whole stealing magic thing. But Sunset had started to develop something deep within her for this Twilight. A genuine connection. Friendship… and maybe something else. Something that she’d never let herself feel before, out of fear that it would make her weak.
It was a slow and painful process, full of new and scary emotions. But it was also so exciting. It felt like her heart was finally starting to come back.

Femslash Feb Day 7 - Dahlia - Kitty/Cerise
the swap actually ended up working out perfectly guys
i was hoping dahlias would be poisionous to cats and dogs so i could write this story... and they are!
its all coming together this month
i could really use some more ships though if you wanna send some over!
(to the person who suggestion cj and freddie IM SO SORRY i never watched wicked world beyond a few episodes X.X)
Brief Summary: Cerise was very cautious. Kitty was very wild. Maybe their differences were what made them a perfect pair.
Word Count: 440
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (22 spots left)
Cerise had learned from a young age to be really cautious when shopping for flowers. There were a ton of beautiful blooms that were poisonous to dogs, which also included wolves. Obviously her dad probably wasn’t going to eat those, but it was better safe than sorry. Plus, she and Ramona were technically half-wolf, so it was just better to not have those hanging around. Her mom had a big love for flowers though, so she’d taught them about safety. Roses were in. Dahlias were out.
Regardless, she and her family weren’t big flower eaters. But when she’d started dating Kitty, this random body of knowledge suddenly became very helpful.
Kitty was honestly kind of wild. Probably it was because she’d been raised in Wonderland. Cerise didn’t know everything that went down in that place, but she’d come to the assumption that a lot of things there were randomly edible. Including things like pencils, buttons, and flowers. Cerise had absent mindedly picked out an animal safe arrangement of flowers to give to Kitty not long after they’d started dating, but her stomach had still plummeted after Kitty started munching on them. Thankfully she hadn’t contaminated the bunch, and everything was fine.
Frankly, Cerise didn’t know how Kitty had gone so long without getting poisoned. She would eat random things off the ground all the time. She’d had to pull a bunch of things out of Kitty’s hands in the first few months of them dating before the girl finally caught on. The cat had been very insistent that she had some kind of ‘Wonderland Immune System’, but Cerise just didn’t see how eating leaves could possibly be good for anyone.
It was, admittedly, endearing though. Kitty had a very low sense of fear, whereas Cerise’s was extremely high. She’d been raised to always be incredibly cautious, and never put yourself out there more than you had to. All in the pursuit of keeping the family secret. Although she was passing some of that caution onto Kitty, the other girl was also helping her to be more daring. She’d learned how to climb trees and sit on precarious branches. Sometimes, when they were all alone in the middle of the woods, Cerise would even take her hood down and feel the wind on her ears.
They both had things to learn from the other girl. Cerise wasn’t sure if she’d ever actually be carefree, and she doubted that Kitty was going to give up her wild side. But together, they both encouraged the other girl to do things that were different. And maybe that was what made them a perfect match

Femslash Feb Day 16 - Asleep - Darling/Apple
this one is... is ok
i would love to write one in scene more during this moment
but... i am sleep
Brief Summary: Darling had fantasized for a long time about waking Apple from a slumber. She just hadn't expected it to actually happen.
Word Count: 297
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (2 spots left)
Alright, it was true. Darling had sometimes fantasized about being Apple White’s Prince (or Princess) Charming. Who wouldn’t, right? She was gorgeous and had an alluring personality. They had a lot of classes together since they were both in the princess track, and as they got closer, Darling noticed a lot of feelings of duty and love towards the other girl. She’d known she was gay for a while, but she wasn’t even honest with her family about wanting to be a knight, let alone liking girls.
Still, though, she hadn’t wanted Apple to actually get hurt. But looking at her laying there, Darling felt a profound feeling of destiny. She wanted to kiss her. But there were so many people around, plus Apple and Daring had some sort of… situation going on, and she’d been trying very hard not to intrude. She didn’t want to make her brother feel like she was trying to slide in. Plus then he would tell her parents and everything would get complicated.
But then Daring’s kiss didn’t work. And Dexter wasn’t around to do anything, and he probably wouldn’t anyway even if he was there. He wasn’t very invested in the idea of being Apple’s prince. He had his sights fixed on another girl. So Darling saw her opportunity, and she took it. And it worked.  She didn’t know if Apple had even considered dating a girl though. So she kept quiet about it. It was a moment that was fulfilling on its own. To know that it was possible that she could be a knight. And destiny had made it so she was Apple’s knight. But they could take things slow. Destiny always had a way of bringing things together in the end. She could be patient for now.

Femslash Feb Day 5 - Mystery - Uma/Lonnie
did you guys remember that i actually already wrote a fic about them?
that was back in 2019. woah
it was fun revisiting the dynamic!
Brief Summary: Lonnie couldn’t deny a certain attraction to mysterious, bad girls.
Word Count: 275
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (22 spots left)
Lonnie couldn’t deny a certain attraction to mysterious, bad girls. She hadn’t really known that until the first VKs came to Auradon, but Mal and Evie were so cool, and also lowkey kind of hot. Plus, Mal had given her a super fire hairdo.
So, VKs were definitely cool. But the more mysterious the other girl, the better. So when a teal haired daughter of a sea witch started lurking around Auradon Prep, Lonnie had been really intrigued.
Uma was hard to totally figure out. Based on what Jay said, she was super bitter and hateful. But she was also really pretty. And apparently had some sort of history with Mal with some total bad blood. And she was good at sword fighting, which was a huge plus. Lonnie loved sword fighting.
Obviously, she wasn’t about to put herself in total danger just because she wanted to find out more about Uma. But if Lonnie’s mom had never done anything risky, well, she wouldn’t have saved all of China. So Lonnie only put herself in a little danger. She got to do an epic sword fight, and see the dreamy Uma in action.
Then, the barrier to the Isle got lifted, and Uma started spending more time around Auradon. Lonnie found out that she was super sassy, and really dedicated to her causes. But she wasn’t totally bad either. She could make friends, and she had a wicked sense of style. Now, it was just a matter of Lonnie making her move. She’d only been secretly stalking Uma for a couple of years. Surely there was a lot more to learn about the other girl.

Femslash Feb Day 2 - Spring - Catra/Adora
they are THE moment
i really need to rewatch she-ra
Brief Summary: Catra had never really enjoyed springtime before.
Word Count: 309
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (26 spots left)
This was the first springtime that Catra had ever really enjoyed.
In the Horde, everything was always kinda dreary. She hadn’t really gotten out much to see the rest of Etheria while she’d been younger, but to be honest, she hadn’t really realized what she was missing anyways.
Then after Adora left, her mind was so filled with hate that there didn’t seem to be a lot of joy in spring flowers or whatever. Anything beautiful she saw, she wanted it crushed. She hated the beautiful forests and fields in Brightmoon. She was repulsed by all the happy sunshine and beauty.
Now that she was together with Adora, it felt like so many things had changed. It was mostly good, but also scary. She had to unlearn so many things. Adora had very gently walked her through recognizing the world’s beauty. She’d taken Catra on picnics and long walks through the forest. They’d played together at the serene rivers and ponds. It felt like being kids again, just in a much more picturesque place.
And she felt happy. In a way she never had before. There had always been some sort of baggage holding her back, but this was starting a whole new life. It was also the most honest she had ever been, now that she and Adora had confessed. The weight of that love had also been weighing on her for years. It had confused her so much that she’d just decided to hate Adora instead. But she never really had; not really.
Now, Adora would pick flowers from the ground and place them behind her ears. The two of them were sappy and cringey and all the things Catra had been trying so hard to avoid. But it just felt right. Like the blossoming of something new and beautiful.
Maybe that was the essence of springtime.

Word Count: 266
Request from @staticandlove and @dragonstonetargaryenn
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (4 spots left)
“Aww, you didn’t have to get me a present.” Still, Ramona couldn’t help her excitement, wagging a little as she looked at the box.
“Well, anniversaries only come once a year.” Justine smiled, snuggling in next to her. “It’s nothing crazy.”
“I didn’t get you anything though.” Ramona looked over at Justine with puppy dog eyes. She knew she should feel bad about it, but Justine had said that the only gift that she needed was the gift of her company and she’d taken that to heart. “So… what’s in the box?” Her eyes darted towards it excitedly.
Justine couldn’t help but laugh. Ramona really was just a little puppy at heart. “Go ahead and open it,” she urged, and Ramona tore in, completely destroying her delicate wrapping job. Some of those wolf-like tendencies. When the box was open, Ramona pulled out a fuzzy white…
“A sweater?” she questioned. It was a odd kind of gift for an anniversary. Maybe something her mom would get her for the holidays, but who was she to judge. “Wow… thank you,” she said with as much feeling as she could muster.
Justine knocked into her. “Give it a sniff.”
Not one to argue with a pretty lady, Ramona leaned in and gave the sweater a big smell. Immediately she perked up. It smelled like a snack. “Sheep wool!”
“I thought it would make you comfortable. Get you more in touch with your wolfy side.”
Ramona grinned widely. “It’s perfect. I love it.” She let the sweater go and gave Justine a big squeeze. She really was a thoughtful girlfriend.

Femslash Feb Day 7 - Hugs - Sasha/Marcy
PU HU HU
this was soooo fun
omg. my girls
my first real amphibia ship fic
sasha and darcy don’t count LOL
Brief Summary: Sasha woke up abruptly to the sound of a knock at her apartment door. Who would be stopping by at two am?
Word Count: 653
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (3 spots left)
Sasha woke up abruptly to the sound of a knock at her apartment door. Blearily, she checked her phone. Two am. The knock didn’t sound too serious, not like the police or anything. Maybe she could just sleep it off. But just as she’d decided to go back to bed, her phone blinked back on with a text from Marcy. And apparently, she’d had some missed calls.
i m outside
pls,,, open
What? That was enough to jolt Sasha awake, and she walked through the kitchen to the door. Marcy didn’t even live in LA right now. She’d flown over once and they’d hung out, but Sasha had no idea how she could be here. But sure enough, the little peephole on the door revealed a nervous looking Marcy. Sasha undid the latch.
“Marcy, what the fuck?” she questioned, not convinced that she wasn’t still dreaming.
“You’re here!!” Marcy squeaked, bobbing up and down. “I thought I was going to have to get a hotel.”
“It’s two in the morning.” Sasha rubbed her eyes. “Why are you here? What’s going on?” She stepped aside to let Marcy in.
The other girl padded in, rolling a suitcase behind her. “Glad I got your room number right,” she said, walking towards the back. “I really need to pee. Been a long flight.”
“Marcy.” Sasha walked boldly in front of her, blocking her path. “Answers. Now.”
“Oh. I uhh… it was late and I was sad and I was thinking wouldn’t it be nice to get a hug from Sasha? So I got on a plane. Good thing I took pictures outside of your building last time I was here. You should really turn your phone volume on.” Marcy bounced a little. “So… how about that pee?”
Might as well accept her crazy antics. It was just Marcy being Marcy. “Well, are you going to do it?” Sasha asked, quirking her brow.
“Do what? Pee? Right now? I’d prefer to go to on a toilet but-”
“No, goof. Hug me.”
Marcy’s eyes got big, and she snuggled up and grabbed Sasha. There was nothing like a Marcy hug. She always squeezed the life out of you.
“You really came all the way here for just that?” Sasha questioned as soon as Marcy let her go. “Kind of a waste of a trip.”
Marcy blinked at her with those big eyes. “Well, I thought it was nice. And maybe we could do it again when you’re more… conscious.”
Sasha smirked. “And that’s all you want?”
“Uhh… what else would I-”
Might as well grab life by the balls. What the hell? Sasha leaned in and kissed Marcy on the lips, grabbing the back of her head. Marcy started off tense, but soon she became putty in Sasha’s hands. “I’ve been meaning to do that for a while,” Sasha said when they finally parted. Marcy just looked dazed.
“I thought you were dating that guy… Elton or whatever…”
Sasha smiled deviously at her. “Fuck Elton.” It was funny. She hadn’t realized just how much she wanted Marcy until she’d started dating all those other clowns. She’d tried with girls, boys, and everyone else. Gone the whole nine yards. But nothing felt as good as Marcy. Guess you don’t realize what you’ve got. She laced her fingers behind Marcy’s head. “Move in with me,” she whispered.
Immediately, Marcy got her energy back. “Okay!”
“Okay?” Sasha laughed. “Really?”
“I brought my Minecraft pajamas, my computer, and my tablet so… I think I’m all set.” Marcy grinned at her, hands lightly holding Sasha’s waist. She still seemed a bit antsy though.
After a moment of staring into each other’s eyes Marcy spoke again, looking jittery. “Wasn’t kidding about the bathroom.”
Sasha shook her head, letting the other girl go. “Go ahead,” she said, stepping aside. “I’ll be here when you get out.”
She’d be there forever, if Marcy would let her.

Femslash Feb Day 27 - Different - Mel/Grayson
omg. i think i pulled it off and this was actually good!
i was worried about it because i've never written it before and they don't like. talk (as far as i can remember)
BUT. sometimes when you don't have a lot to go off of. interesting things come out of it
ALSO I JUST REALIZED I FORGOT THE PROMPT ENTIRELY and i just started writing
but you know what? i think it still fits. HAHA
Brief Summary: Maybe Mel had kind of a little thing for the sheriff of the Enforcers.
Word Count: 220
Rating: Teen (mentions of sex)
Request by @gaeldricge
Maybe Mel had kind of a little thing for the sheriff of the Enforcers. And so what if she did? They were both adults, and both single. And maybe Mel found the rugged, older look to be attractive. It was hardly a crime, and she was certain she wasn’t the only one who felt that way. Possibly not even the only one in the Council.
Was she ever going to act on it? Likely not. Mel prefered her attraction to be clearly reciprocated before making a move. Grayson was clearly too busy for romance. Or even sex. She was very devoted to her work. It was admirable.
Still, a woman could fantasize. What was it they called an older woman who dated young? A cougar? Mel could work with that. Sometimes, alone in her room, she would daydream about what it would be like. Assumedly, Grayson had more experience. But Mel had gotten around herself. She usually preferred to be the one on top, but maybe with someone older who was an Enforcer, she would get disciplined. God, it was hot just thinking about it.
Still, Mel kept her thoughts to herself, and always made sure to behave strictly professionally. It would be complicated and immoral to get involved in any way with Grayson. But it was a lovely fantasy.

Femslash Feb Day 28 - Dress - Raya/Namaari
I DID IT
not before midnight but hey
finishing off with a bang
did i write them last year?? i just looked it up and I DIDN'T
very shocking
anyways this has been a great year! you all had awesome requests
stay tuned for possibly other writing in the not-too-distant future! i'm definitely more motivated
Brief Summary: Raya had received a note from Namaari saying that they were going out to dinner and to dress nice. Now she was outside waiting for the serlot to whisk her away.
Word Count: 682
Raya hadn’t worn a dress in a very, very long time. After the whole world getting destroyed thing, looking fancy hadn’t been a big priority for her. But now that the Drune was gone, things were slowly getting back to how they were when she was a child. The world was still healing, and she’d been doing a lot of that herself, too. Like when Namaari asked her out to dinner, she’d made sure to give a very positive response. She still had some trepedations about the other girl, but she’d seen that she wasn’t as bad as she’d thought. Trusting people was still just a little hard. But maybe this was Namaari’s way of trying to make it up to her.
She’d told her to “dress nice”. So Raya had thought she should wear some sort of gown. But she definitely didn’t look as good in them as when she was twelve. She’d picked the most well-fitting dress available, but it just made her look awkward. Her legs and arms were much more muscular than before. She was far from her old slender and dainty figure.
Now she was waiting for Namaari to come get her and take her to wherever they were going. She’d said they could ride her serlot there. Probably not the best idea in a light blue dress, but what the hell.
After a few moments of waiting, Raya heard the noise of a large creature approaching. She stood up to greet them. After giving a little bow, Raya stroked the nose of the big cat. She’d been getting more friendly with the serlots after everything that had happened. Then she looked up to Namaari.
She looked imposing as always up on the cat. Raya was disapointed to see that Namaari’s idea of dressing nice still involved some pants. Now she felt extra stupid.
“Hey, Raya. You still clean up nice,” Namaari said, jumping down off the cat. “You know,” she noted, “it’s a bit of a ride.”
“I got a mysterious note saying to dress nice and meet you and your serlot outside for dinner. How was I supposed to know where we were going or how long it would take?” Raya scrunched up her shoulders, frowning. Her body felt so awkward. Namaari stepped over, approaching her.
“I’m sure you can ride in a dress. You know about side-saddle?”
Raya felt her face flush, but whether it was from the embarrassment or the close proximity was anyone’s guess. “Of course I know about side-saddle.” She glowered at Namaari. “Now be a good date and help me up onto your cat.”
Now Namaari looked a bit flustered too. She walked up next to Raya and cupped her hands. Raya stepped up and slung herself on. Namaari was right that her dress was a little too tight to sit normally. So she tucked her legs to the side and waited for the other girl to get on.
“So, you think this is a date?” Namaari said once she got settled.
“Isn’t it?” They were going out together late at night to get dinner in fancy clothes. It sure sounded like a date from the invitation. Namaari coughed, figeting in front of Raya a bit.
“Well… if it is a date. Then you can hold onto me while we ride.”
God, this was so embarrassing. “I’ll think about that,” Raya said, her face hot. “But you promised me a dinner, and as far as I can tell, we’re not moving.”
“Right,” Namaari said, tightening her legs around the serlot. “Hope you like seafood,” she said as they started riding.
Raya tried her hardest to not hold onto Namaari’s waist as they rode. But being side-saddle was kind of unstable. So in the end, she swallowed her pride and wrapped one arm around Namaari. The other woman was strong and solidly built. And warm. And Raya could feel her heart beating very faintly, almost as fast as her own.
She had a feeling this evening was only going to get more and more awkward. But strangely, it wasn’t entirely unwelcome.

Femslash Feb Day 25 - Gift - Briar/Faybelle
now im going to be honest
did this one get requested?
the answer is no
BUT. i really need to write bribelle every year
and i think this story helped me think about their dynamic even more clearly
they r also my top eah ship
tee hee
Brief Summary: It had taken Briar a bit of time to trust Faybelle’s gifts.
Word Count: 554
It had taken Briar a bit of time to trust Faybelle’s gifts. Even though they’d been going out for a while, it was hard to get rid of what had been drilled into her head about the other girl. To never trust her and absolutely never take anything from her. It was sort of the point of their whole story.
Still, she knew it made Faybelle sad that Briar was sometimes a bit hesitant. So she’d been making her fairy best efforts to show up for the other girl and prove that she trusted her. So today, when Faybelle had texted her, ‘i’ve got something for you. <3 cld you come up to my room l8r?’, she had responded with the utmost positivity.
She was outside of Faybelle’s room now, a bit curious about what the present was. Faybelle knew it was a sensitive subject, so instead of gifts they usually just spent quality time together. It had to be something good. She knocked on the door out of courtesy, but Faybelle had told her that it was usually unlocked. She’d gotten friendly with Bunny too, but she was out and about a lot.
Briar opened the door to Faybelle’s room. It was a funny contrast between the two sides. Faybelle’s was decked out all dark and spooky, whereas Bunny’s side was very sweet and whimsical. She and Ashlynn were both princesses, so their decor was more aligned. Faybelle flew over in front of her as soon as the door fully opened.
“Okay, I’ve got it all ready. Just close your eyes and I’ll walk you over to it. I couldn’t wrap it or anything.”
“Close my eyes?” Briar couldn’t deny that made her a bit nervous. It probably wasn’t true that Faybelle dating her was part of some elaborate scheme, but she still had some trauma from her storyline. She must have looked nervous, because Faybelle leaned down and kissed her on the cheek.
“You know I wouldn’t hurt you, right?” The fairy asked, and Briar nodded. This was an important step for their relationship. She closed her eyes, and held out a hand for Faybelle to guide her. The floor must have been cleaned for this occasion, because she didn’t trip at all while they walked. Soon, her knees bumped Faybelle’s desk, and she knew to stop.
“Okay, it’s right here. You can open them now.”
Briar opened her eyes. In front of her was a rose bobbing gently in the air above a beautiful black and pink base. She reached out and poked it, and it returned to its original position.
“I made sure it has no thorns,” Faybelle said. “It’s enchanted with fairy magic so it’ll live forever! Pretty cool, right?”
Briar blinked a few times, feeling suddenly emotional. “It’s amazing,” she said, eyes welling up a little. It was such a thoughtful gift. Perfectly to her tastes. She felt horrible about having any doubts. But when she looked at the other girl, she could tell that Faybelle already knew what she was thinking. The fairy wrapped an arm around Briar, and Briar hugged her hard. She’d gotten so fairy lucky in a way she never could have imagined. She was building a beautiful and healthy new story now, and she could tell she was destined for a fairytale ending.

Femslash Feb Day 17 - Light - Poppy/Barb
this is probably my longest parb story yet
tbh i was having a tough night but i really felt like this healed me
just the right pairing for today
Brief Summary: Barb was jolted awake by her trollfriend poking her. What did Poppy want before it was even light outside?
Word Count: 604
I’m still accepting ships for femslash feb!!! Send me your fave fem pairs and I’ll write you a fic sometime this month!! (2 spots left)
Barb was jolted out of her very peaceful slumber by repeated poking. She startled awake, throwing her fists out to protect herself and clonking her very cute little trollfriend in the head.
“Oww! Oww oww,” Poppy yelped, backing off. Barb blinked, trying to adjust to being suddenly awake. To make things worse, it was still dark outside.
“What’s up?” Barb asked, coming to awareness. “An emergency? We’re being attacked. I’ll protect you, babe-”
“No, Barb. We’re not being attacked.”
“Oh.” Barb settled back into bed. “Thought it was something serious. Sorry I hit you. Well, I think I’ll go back to bed.”
She jumped again as Poppy resumed the poking. “Ah! Stop that. What is it? It’s so early.”
“Well…” Poppy bobbed back and forth on her feet. “I thought we could catch the first light of the day if you got up now.”
“Pop-squeak, you know I went to bed way late, right?” Barb tried to hold her ground. “And I won’t be on my game tomorrow if I don’t…” Oh no. Poppy was blinking those big, beautiful eyes at her. “And I…” She sighed. “Alright, fine. Let’s go.”
“Yay!” Poppy cheered. “You’ll see. It’s beautiful. I don’t think you’ve ever seen the sunrise at Pop Village.”
Truthfully, Barb doubted she’d ever seen the sunrise ever. It was definitely an adjustment coming to live with Poppy. There were way more hugs. And random disturbances. But it did have its awesome moments. She got to see her trollfriend every single day. That was pretty rocking.
Barb slumped around the room, grabbing her coat and re-spiking her hair a little in the mirror. “Alright,” she said finally. “Let’s go.”
Somewhat unsurprisingly, life was already beginning to stir at Pop Village. There was someone out for a run, and vague noises from inside some of the houses. Poppy held Barb’s hand and walked her to the top of a little mound just outside the town. Already, the sky was starting to lighten.
While they stood there, Poppy kept holding her hand. As the sky continued to brighten, she spoke up. “I know you haven’t lived here very long…”
“Mhm,” Barb replied, encouraging her.
“And I know that when we first met, we were kinda sorta enemies.”
Barb chuckled at that. “Yeah. Sorry I wanted to destroy your home.”
Poppy squeezed her palm. “But I was just wondering about your plans. For the future.”
“Plans?” Barb stared out at the sky. “I dunno really. I guess I was thinking I would just stay here.”
“Really?” Poppy had a burst of excitement in her voice. “That’s so great!”
“Why do you ask?” Barb looked over at her. “You don’t wanna break up or anything, right?”
“OMG. No.” Poppy shook her head so hard some sparkles came off. “I was just hoping you didn’t want to be roaming around. Being a free spirit. Like you were. Or living somewhere that’s not here. Because I know you’re not the biggest fan of pop.”
Barb lifted her arm and squeezed Poppy’s shoulder. “Eh, pop’s not as bad as I thought it was. Plus you’re here.”
That elicited a glowing blush from Poppy. The two stood quietly as the sky continued to brighten.
“So, what do you think of the sunrise?” Poppy piped up after a few moments. “Pretty gorgeous, right?”
“Yeah. Very cool.” Barb smiled slyly. “But not as pretty as you.” She leaned over and gave Poppy a kiss on the cheek. And yeah, maybe she would need to take a nap when she got back home. But making Poppy blush so hard after the kiss was well worth it.
