u ever just. think about how Brook was alone for 50 odd years. on a huge ass ship surrounded by the remains of his dead crewmates. and he just ,, lived life ,, doing silly things and making silly jokes and talking to himself bc a ship is meant to be where nakama gather and rejoice and fight and protect each other and he just ,, sometimes thought he’d dreamt the whole thing and that his crew was alive and he had skin and flesh and he’d be so happy and then. it hit him that he wasn’t dreaming ... and he’d look down and see his hands and realize one more time that he’d been reduced to bones and that the ship was silent ,, and he couldn’t even get back to Laboon bc the rudder was broken so his one living friend would never know what happened to them ,,

bc i don’t lol why would anyone think about that haha who cries over a dumb skeleton and a whale hahaha ,,,,
