i understand why this isn't the case, but i think everyone should be able to play an instrument. the same way i think everyone should speak multiple languages. the craft of music is a language in and of itself

#im VERY stoned rn tho so please keep that in mind #also i should make it clear i don't really play any instruments #i've played many instruments #but i never managed to master one #for a while i was getting there with my voice #i haven't regularly practiced for years now tho #i mean dont get me wrong i can still sing. but singing in a classical sense doesnt come to me as easily anymore #i was taking voice lessons from a friend for a little bit but i couldnt afford it anymore #living in an apartment doesnt help either #i used to sit in my room and unselfconsciously sing at the top of my lungs - BELT like musical theatre belting #sometimes doing a bit of screlting i'm ngl #but that was in a house #i mean my family had to put up with it #i dont know why i put all of this in the tags instead of making a new post #oh its bc im stoned
