I kinda disagree with how the Casper and Nova's adventure suggested that the ending - Casper facing two equally bad options - was somehow Casper's own fault, and that things came down to those two options solely because of his neglect of Nova.

I can't pinpoint my exact thoughts on it right now, but it just *intuitively* feels wrong.

#maybe it's the fact that #betty was happy #she was never pressured neither by simon nor by others around her #to give up everything for simon #it was her choice #so her being entagled in this tragedy is just as much the consequence of her actions as it is of simon's #and neither of them knew of the curse #thus cannot be 'blamed' for facing those two options #it's all about the decisions they made when they faced that choice. and betty's choice is absolutely on her. #she has her own damn agency dammit #everyone in og adventure time was against betty's idea of 'fixing' simon #the all suggested the right path was for her to accept her loss - like marcy did like normal man did etc #betty literally swam against the current plowing her own path despite all the resistance #and you say she is a passive victim of someone else's narrative? #she's a victim of her own madness and sadness and absolute radness #don't diminish that fact #fionna and cake #betty grof #petrigrof
