Really wanted to try a new style with black shading and bright colours. I'm still experimenting, but really liked these ( •̀ ω •́ )y
Alua (right) will always have something yellow or gold on her and yes she does look down on people like that...she's also only 167cm. Really into thrift store shopping, but tends to buy clothes 2 sizes too big.
Noa (left) just wears whatever as long as it's comfortable. Would love thrift stores, but has a twin who buys way too much. Ended up really enjoying embroidery. Noa is even shorter than Alua, standing 163cm...on a good day.

Copperdale LP - characters = FLORES
MAIN FAMILY - Maria & Noa Flores.
single mom, working as a nurse, trying to give her daughter the best life she can.
Maria's life was difficult since the beginning. Growing up in a small town with a scary crime rate, she never knew her father and can barely remember her mom, who passed away when she was only 13 due to a terrible alcohol problem. Maria had to live with her grandmother, who was very religious but not a very pleasant lady - she took care of Maria, but she never really cared for her, always finding reasons to pick on the young girl. Even though Maria had dreams of becoming a doctor, she just wasn't fortunate enough to receive a good education, because she lived in a low income town and went to a public school where teachers weren't interested - nor capable - in giving their students a top tier education. Also, money was a problem in the household, so Maria had to start working odd jobs at 14. At 17, she quit school all together because she got a job offer - a house cleaning job in Oasis Springs. So, she left her grandma and her little sad town, and went to live in Oasis Springs where she kept working as a house keeper and cleaner for a few years. When Maria was 20 years old, she started working as a house keeper for a rich snobby family, who were treating all their workers terribly, but it was nothing new for Maria. Though, something was new - even though the families she worked for usually ignored her existence, the family's son, who was 32 at the time, took interest in her and started pursuing her. He always asked how she was doing, and offered help if she needed, even though she never accepted the help. Eventually, she let him closer, and a relationship was born. Maria became infatuated by the man, he seemed to interesting to her, he had an amazing job and a perspective future. While cleaning his family's house, she dreamed about how she might sit at the table with them one day... However, when Maria told him that she was pregnant with his baby, he became her worst nightmare. He called her names, laughed at her, told her that she was fired, threatened her if she told someone about them, and gave her money to get an abortion. Maria was crushed, she came home and cried the whole night. But after a few days, when she got enough courage to go to the abortion clinic, something shifted while waiting at the registration. She decided to keep the baby, because her whole life she had been feeling completely alone, and she wanted to have someone to share her life with, so she turned around and made the decision to change her life. She got on a bus and moved to a town called Brindleton Bay. After staying for a few days at a motel she found a cheap place to rent and for a few months, while she was able to work, she got a job at a laundry shop, sometimes working extra odd jobs as a cleaner. When the baby was born - a beautiful, healthy, angelic baby girl, Maria felt the happiest she ever felt in her life. She named the baby Noa because she always loved that name, and made a promise to herself to give her angel the best life she could. While it was hard to be a single mom working paycheck to paycheck, Maria never regretted her decision, in fact having Noa in her life gave Maria new motivation. She remembered her dream of becoming a doctor, and while she knew it wasn't possible for her without a proper education or funds, she decided to finish high school, then, when Noa was 6 and started school, Maria started a program to become a qualified nurse. When Noa was 9, Maria was able to become a full time nurse at Brindleton Bay Hospital, and life was good. However, after a few years - right after Noa turned 15, Maria was laid off from her job because the Hospital was made smaller, so she started to look around for nurse job opportunities. Maria got a compensation from the hospital, which wasn't a lot, but it still added to her savings. Also, while looking for a job she got some unexpected news - Maria's grandmother had died, and she left Maria 20,000 thousand simoleans. So, after some time, Maria finally got a new position, although in a new town - a town called Copperdale.
Maria and Noa moved to a small but cozy house in the central part of Copperdale, renting the house from an old woman for a pretty cheap price. Maria used the money she inherited from her grandma to enroll Noa in a private school with very good teachers and an amazing program. The new town seems... comfortable, the majority of people here are pretty affluent and snobby. Maria and Noa are excited for their fresh start. Maria's new job is paying pretty well, and Noa is motivated to study hard and get into a great university. However, with private schools come spoiled, pretentious teens and drama...
Noa enjoyed living in Brindleton Bay, but when Maria was laid off in the beginning of summer, she understood that this means they might leave their home soon, and she was okay with that. So, Noa celebrated her 15 birthday with her best friend Alana, and after a few weeks she left the town, forever. Noa did not grew up with money, but she never felt like she was lacking anything because she always saw and understood how hard her mom worked for her. Noa always knew that she has some big expectations to meet. Therefore, since she was a kid, she always wanted to excel in everything. Noa is an overachiever, and she is always trying to be her best. She is scared to fail her mom, so she's willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. The new place seems exciting, and she's motivated to become the best student at Copperdale High.
