S'chn L'Vorr Hope makes it back to her counterparts apartment as quickly as she can. She gets in the door and rushes to Brandon the moment she sees him, hugging him tightly. "I hate it here."

Brandon Breyer instantly pulls his sister in, hugging her tightly and rubbing her back a bit, somewhat awkward but better than he once was. "Me, too. Did you see mom, or-- anyone, on the way?"

The hybrid rolls his eyes and gags to himself. Gross, honestly.

Double Open Starter: Information (Brandon/Cal)

“You.”

“Me,” Cal remarks dryly, looking up... his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. “...who the fuck are you?”

Brandon chuckles and smirks. “A friend of Cora’s. Or, at the very least, someone more than a little interested in getting to know her.”

“Hate to burst your bubble, but my sister’s gay,” Cal rolls his eyes and kneeling back down to the jewelry case in front of him. Not that anything they got was anything of any actual value, sometimes he thought the boss just liked having somewhere to highlight it and to have something else for staff to have to focus on on top of the rest of the job. Right now, he was reorganizing and stocking it.

Brandon wrinkles his nose. “Not like that. She’s a hybrid. That common in your family?”

“That’d be 1/3 of us,” Cal remarks with a shrug, growing defensive and barely glancing up a moment. “Something the matter with it?”

“Just trying to figure out where that came from. Genetic?”

The door opens. Saved by the customer. Cal straightens up and calls out, turning to the door. “Welcome to Lost and Found!”

Double Solo Para: At the Wheel (Hazel/Brandon)

Hazel huffs and sighs, sticking her tongue out a bit at Andy's retreating back as the other made a "quick stop, I promise" in a nearby store to restock her liquor, sitting back in the driver's seat grumpily. Stupid Andy. Stupid vampirism. Stupid-- hey, was that...?

Hazel's eyes bug out as she locks eyes with the man walking past. He stops and does a double take, grinning and coming around, knocking on her window lightly. Hazel glares at him and finally cracks it. "What do you want, Brandon?"

"To know if you should really be sitting in that seat. You know which one's the brake, right?" He chuckles a bit at her grumpy expression.

Hazel groans, hitting her head on the wheel. "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! I was still LEARNING, you prick!"

"Keep telling yourself that," he laughs. "What're you doing here, little Gilbert?"

Hazel sighs. "I'm here for school."

"All the weirdly familiar people have nothing to do with it, I'm sure."

"Of course," Hazel looks up, a sickly sweet grin on her face. "I'm just some kid. Whatever that's all about has nothing to do with me."

"Naturally. Ah, your guardian's spotted me. I'll be going. Careful which pedal you hit." And Brandon's gone in a blur as Andromeda rushes out of the store.
