It’s only for a few hours” she promised, kissing your cheek before leading you out of your apartment.

When you guys arrived, the party was of course in full swing “So many people” you whispered to Natasha, her smirking and giving a small laugh “Of course, Stark knows everybody” she whispered back, lacing your fingers together so you two wouldn’t be separated in the crowd as she led you up to the bar that Tony was tending for the night “Oooooh, Nat is this the new arm candy?” Tony asked teasingly, holding his hands up in surrender when she glared at him “Teasing... After about your third eggnog(which Tony told you wasn’t spiked), you felt slightly dizzy and grinned when you saw Natasha coming up to you “You okay?” She asked, wrapping an arm around you and you gave her a dopey grin “Of course I am... You’re very blurry though” you slurred, looking at her and grinning even more when she gave a small chuckle “How much eggnog did you have?” She asked, brushing some hair out of your face as she kept a steady grip on you “A f-few glassesss, why?” You asked, giggling as some of your hair tickled your nose and resting your head on her chest “Because I’m prettyyyy sure it’s spiked.” She chuckled, looking at you and kissing your head “I saw Thor pouring some alcohol in it” she said, rubbing your back and having you take a step “Lets get you to my room, yeah?” She suggested, knowing you needed to rest a bit.

“Okay” you giggled, letting her lead you out of the main area of the compound, waving to random people, one of those people being Wanda who just laughed and shook her head until you reached a staircase “I’m gonna fall” you said, looking at the few stairs “Don’t worry... I’ll catch you if you fall” Natasha promised before helping you up the stairs, those words meaning more than just her saying she’d catch you if you tripped.
