Went to a used bookstore the other day and picked this up

Went to put it on the shelf at home

Sigh

At least they’re different editions

#my books #on a related note I really hope that whatever happened with the sphinx hasn't ruined used bookstores for me #sucks to have something somewhat specific in common with someone who then rejects you #and then you have to like #break the association between that thing you like and that person #it happens with time #but man #so much of life is just...enduring pain #just weathering the suffering and waiting for it to dull #but something new always comes up
