tw ship discourse *coughs sorry*
its so annoying when i find out people that seem fun or artists in my fandom (cough.. yall know what fandom) are proshitters (this is the 3rd time now. i just blocked them). i still see antis interacting with their posts. i wanna vibe with people but not with people who think shipping incest ships or minors with adults are okay. and not people who think romanticizing dark topics is okay.
also nobody better not say ''awww the proshits are just anti-harassment 🥺'' like no that definition completely distracts everyone from the nuance of the beliefs associated with the labels, arguments and discourse in the first place and im sick of it. so tired of that definition being spread around because it's just generalizing antis (or people who don't label themselves as antis, but have views that veryyy much lean to that side-- like me :D) so nobody don't even bother to hear about their views and why they believe them.
its real funny that i constantly see proshits who explicitly say or hint that they're okay with people shipping incest, and romanticizing dark topics. and they explicitly say they don't think fiction can influence or affect reality (some of them do think that but they just pick and choose what can or can't affect reality. like an example, ive witnessed a lot of proshits speak about poc representation and how fiction affects poc minorites, yet they'll still believe raceplay fics are fucking okay despite it contributing to poc's discriminition)
but yet continue to say that their label just means ''being anti-harassment'' even when their beliefs... is more than ''being anti-harassment''. and lolol not all proshits are clearly ''anti-harrassment'' as i've literally witnessed proshits telling antis to die or deny that they were traumatized and other fucked up shit. like not only them defining their label as that definition generalize antis and does not hint that the discourse is nuance, but they're also simplifying the label and the bigger meaning behind it
