I just discovered something.

Detour is not the first time we hear Scully sing!

I just reached El Mundo Gira in my rewatch and noticed something I’d missed before. After they’ve interviewed the migrant workers near the beginning of the episode, Scully stalks away muttering the West Side Story “Maria, Maria, I’ve just met a girl named Maria” under her breath. It’s more of a mumble than a song, but based on Detour she’s not that much of a singer.

So now I have a headcanon that Scully is a secret fan of musicals even though she claims she can’t sing a note. 😁

Sooooooooooooooooo I made a trollsona...........and I'm gonna ramble about her.

This is Mellia Aliane, Pisci fuchsia blood and princess under Trizza's rule. She's......very much a girly girl. Empathetic, sweet, a tiny bit sheltered from the rest of the blood spectrum but she's a troll that wishes to change this. She doesn't want the highbloods to rule over the lowers, turning them into mindless fodder. She wants a kingdom where everyone is equal and cared for. The mocking title of "She who bleeds" is something she carries with pride but also worry. She's considered a failure of a fuchsia for being unable to cull, keeping a limeblood alive since they're her moirall, anf for caring about the lower bloods so many think she's better off culled. So she's kept away by her strict violet attendant trying in vain to teach her the ways of a proper princess along with her precious lusus, Mr. Manatee the fish-tailed meowbeast. She's very inspired off retro 80/90's girl culture and her writing quirks is putting emojis after each sentence. (music notes for happy, raindrop for sad, star for excited and hearts for embarrassed/in love)
