I think about the old elemental alliance way too much. Like right now I'm wondering if the last set of masters of the elements of creation were drawn to each other and as close as the current ninja are. I wonder if Lily, Libber, Ray and whoever the last master of ice was were friends. I wonder if they pulled dumb shit together. I wonder how long Wu knew them for and if that group had a bond with him like the current ninja did (do?).

As far as I can tell Lily was probably the last of them to die/disappear so I wonder how she would have felt being the last of her friends to survive. I wonder how Ray would feel coming back to see that he and Maya were Actually the 'last ones standing' so to speak.

In every western show, I see kids and teens YOUNGER THAN ME going on dates, having their first kisses, FALLING IN LOVE, and I'm just here, in my bed, on Tumblr, single since I popped out of my mother's womb with no past or future prospects. so my lulling-myself-to-sleep activity the other night was spurred by one of the details in the TMS character intros and how it would apply to other characters whose intros haven't been posted, and, consequently, how it could be used to put their age into a real-life historical context

because, as you may have noticed, age on Ehl is not the same as age on Earth.

this is because, for my own convenience, the Ehl year is 400 days instead of 365. this makes it almost exactly 10% longer than an Earth year.

so of course i had to do the math for how old the Eternals are

so, using Veratrum's approximate age of "late forties" when her immortality happened, i determined that on Ehl, she's ~1040 years old. so 1144 on earth.

on earth, veratrum was alive for nearly 700 years by the time the gregorian calendar was invented.

she was born during the height of the Byzantine empire. King Louis the Third died before she was a year old. she's older than protestantism by 600+ years. at least three popes died and ascended between her birth and her fifth birthday. a fourth language had JUST been added to the catholic liturgical languages when her parents did the deed.

she was born before old spanish diverged from latin.
