giffing things that aren't shameless truly solidified (for me) how FUCKING TERRIBLE the lighting/coloring really is. like you're telling me i don't have to spend half a lifetime taking the absolute piss out of the yellow and orange undertones? i don't have to color correct the blues and greens so there isn't that sickly vampiric tinge on their skin? WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT

#like don't get me wrong giffing shameless was some of the most fun i've ever had #but it was also SO STRESSFUL #i have a few sets sitting in my drafts and i keep looking at them and thinking about how much of a struggle they were to color correct #so thank you to lighting directors everywhere that make their shows and movies gif-able #and i will grumble in the general direction of those who don't
