Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu starred in the comedy horror movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The movie has completed one year since release.
Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani starred in the 2022 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The movie completed its one year since release on May 20. Lead actors Kartik and Tabu took to their social media accounts to share memories from the time they shot for the movie.
Kartik played Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a character that became very popular. The actor received praises for his role in the movie and it did very very at the box office, considering the fact that it released during the pandemic. Taking to his Instagram, Kartik shared photos from the theatres where the movie ran house full along with stills and posters of the movie. He captioned the post, “Tin tin tin.. tinnin tin tin.. 🎶 One Year To This 🤙🏻 Thank you for all the love 🙏🏻 #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 (sic)."
Tabu reminisces Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 days
Tabu featured in a double role in the film. The Kuttey actress played the role of twin sisters Manjulika and Anjulika in the comedy horror. Reminiscing her time on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 set, Tabu shared BTS pictures from the movie on the occasion of it completing a year of release. In the caption she wrote, “Sabko happy birthday #bhoolbhulaiyaa2 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official @muradkhetani @kartikaaryan @kiaraaliaadvani @ipritamofficial @chaayaankan @varung0707 @manoharvermaaction and all our participants (sic)."

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a comedy-horror movie directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie is a sequel to the 2007 movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal among others. SCOOP: Yash Raj Films to distribute Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in overseas territories
Around 1 ½ months are left for the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and the excitement is considerable. The film has caught attention due to the coming together of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff for the first time, mass appeal, grandeur and stylized action scenes, as visible in the teaser and BTS video released by the makers. And now, Bollywood Hungama has learned that besides Akshay and Tiger, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will also bring two prominent production houses for the first time.
A trade source told Bollywood Hungama, “Yash Raj Films (YRF) is all set to distribute Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in overseas markets. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment and is the first time that they have joined hands with YRF for distribution. They are happy to have Aditya Chopra’s reputed banner on board to release their film in foreign lands and they are confident that they’ll get the best of screens.”
An industry insider commented, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan releases on Eid. This is a great time for cinema as families come out in large numbers to catch the latest flick in the Middle East and other big markets like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia/New Zealand etc. As a result, the film has a chance to score and with YRF coming on board; they’ll surely give the film a great release that it rightfully deserves.”
YRF Distribution has distributed several films made by outside banners over the years. Some of these movies are Dunki (2023), Jawan (2023), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023), Kuttey (2023), Drishyam 2 (2022), Uunchai (2022), Runway 34 (2022), Dabangg 3 (2019), Zero (2018), Race 3 (2018) etc. For films like Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Kuttey etc, YRF was the distributor not just overseas but also in India.
Besides Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F. It is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Incidentally, Ali began his career with Yash Raj Films and the collaboration also marks his reunion with the banner.

One of the more anticipated movies of the new year is Kuttey. The film is a star-studded cast of unlikely actors portraying terrible characters who all go on a murder-rob spree. The movie features one of the biggest ensemble casts of recent memory with Arjun Kapoor, Tabu (Drishyam 2), Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Kumud Mishra. But what makes Kuttey one of the more exciting Bollywood movies of January 2023, is the director.
While the Kuttey trailer might seem familiar in tone and vibe, looking like a movie from acclaimed director Vishal Bhardwaj, it’s not. But it’s close. The director is actually Bhardwaj’s son, Aaasmaan Bhardwaj. This is why it definitely feels very familiar, at least from a visual and tonal aesthetic. The trailer also features amazing moments of this insane cast doing terrible things and coming together, to potentially backstab each other at the same time.

From debutante director, Shantanu Bagchi comes an original Netflix Bollywood movie of January 2023, Mission Majnu. The Siddharth Malhotra starring movie looks to be your typical nationalistic spy-thriller action movie. The behind-the-scenes creatives aren’t that well known, meaning this movie will be relying on the broad shoulders of Malhotra himself.
Although, while I like Malhotra as an actor, he’s not the strongest dramatic performer. And the Mission Majnu trailer seems like the movie is going to be a straightforward action movie with dramatic and patriotic dialogues. Which is a little cringe at this point in his career. Malhotra is great when he’s doing unconventional roles and stories. While his last Shershaah was a big hit, Thank God was a pretty big flop. Let’s see if Mission Majnu can provide Malhotra with a win among his pretty spotty track record thus far.
Mission Majnu debuts on Netflix on January 20, 2023.
Pathaan Is The Biggest Bollywood Movie Of January 2023

Despite very few movies releasing in January, I think it’s safe to say that the most anticipated movie of, not just the month but the year, is Pathaan. The mega blockbuster featuring Bollywood's biggest star, Shahrukh Khan, releases in January and all eyes are on it for many reasons. Firstly, the director, Siddharth Anand, provided one of Bollywood biggest pre-pandemic hits with War in 2019.
The trailer for Pathaan looks very much like the slick action blockbuster that War was, even in visual aesthetic, so everyone is banking on him to replicate the same success with Pathaan. But another reason why Pathaan is going to do gangbusters is because of Khan himself. Bollywood's biggest star has had a rough run at the movies over his last few releases. Not counting guest appearances and cameos, Khan’s 3 last films were disappointments.
Raees, Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero were not received favourably by critics or audiences. Not having led a movie since 2018, Pathaan in many ways is the star’s big comeback vehicle. I mean, it's not really a comeback, since the star didn’t lose any of his clout during these flops, but I’m sure they hurt. Pathaan looks to be the year's biggest action blockbuster, and it definitely looks pretty badass.
Pathaan releases on January 25, 2023, in theatres.

Arjun Kapoor shares Malaika Arora's 'excitement' for his birthday celebrations

Mumbai (Maharashtra) , June 24 (AF): Actor Arjun Kapoor headed out from Mumbai to celebrate his 37th birthday, reportedly in Paris.
Arjun turns a year older on June 26.
The couple were spotted at the airport on Thursday evening and Arjun also took to his Instagram Stories to post a quirky pic of Malaika.
In the snap, Malaika appeared to be sleepy and wasn't aware of being clicked. She sported in a black and white comfy outfit and tied her hair in a pony with a mask as per COVID-19 guidelines.
Arjun captioned the image, "Loving her excitement".
Malaika re-shared Arjun's Insta Story on her Insta Story, "It's called a power nap" and added laughing emojis.
Arjun and Malaika have been dating each other for a long time and are often seen sharing heartwarming posts.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun will be seen in Mohit Suri's much anticipated 'Ek Villain Returns', which also stars John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film 'Ek Villain' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor.
The cast wrapped up shooting last year and the film was earlier supposed to release on July 8, however makers earlier this month postponed the date to July 29.
Apart from 'Ek Villain Returns', Arjun will also be seen in Aasman Bhardwaj's Kuttey and Ajay Bahl's The Ladykiller. (AF)
