I've heard there's been a redraw meme going around at least on twitter that I'm hearing about second hand 😶, and even though I have not played Undertale, I still though it would be fun to do with my OC Darner, both him years before he was mauled by a dragon and way before the beginning of Victory Bells and then him about halfway through Victory Bells.

Honestly considering changing the name of my oc, The Fleshmelder, to something else. Like, Fleshmelder sounds hecking cool, but it doesn't fit his vibes. He's not some twisted flesh abomination, heck 99% of the time he looks completely human, and the name was originally meant to invoke his regeneration aspect, as he can basically regenerate any part of his body, so long as it isn't burned (think along the lines of hydras).

On a similar note, he's heavily associated with frost/ice (and thus a weakness to fire) and hunger, kinda along the lines of a certain Native American entity (in terms of the actual legends, not the deer thing. The Fleshmelder has 0 deer vibes again think hydra/snake). But I do not want to use that name bc I would like to honor Native American culture.

In terms of appearance, the Fleshmelder has ashy (think cold/undead) skin, unkempt hair that shadows his face, highly reflective eyes, scars from where he's lost and regrown limbs, and sharp claws/teeth. He naturally has an aura of frost.

I've been thinking Frostgaunt, as I feel that gets the unsettling human frost monster vibes a lot better, but I am open to suggestions.

Working on some updated reference sheets + slight redesigns of the Victory Bells protags, and in an attempt to make their heights proportional to one another, I drew their base sketches on one canvas to make sure things end up proportional haha
