#listening to the wilder podcast and have been crying all day over little house on the prairie related things #went on tvtropes and was reminded of the fact that i was so obsessed i even read the rose/caroline/charlotte/martha years books #those books were my childhood growing up and it's very interesting to hear people point out things that i definitely noticed too #even if i wasn't old or educated enough to go critical i remember being confused by some stuff #its VERY interesting to hear about rose's libertarian politics coming into play #they mention the little indian girl that laura sees with her hair as black as a raven and black eyes and laura tells pa to get her that bab #and they bring up how we never are treated to what that little child saw comparatively and i wonder if that was a true story #and if that was true what that specific child grew up and if they remembered the event and probably not and what became of them #idk im just so fucking emotional and i busted open a BIG mikes harder too which didnt help #real emotional and crying over everything today folks actually like i woke up and cried because i left the turtle's lights on overnight oop
