The print depicts a struggle between a fisher and a large mythological fish creature, underneath the light of the moon and amidst the roots of the swamp. The fishing line arcs in almost a figure eight around the composition, the fisher tugging on it on one end until their boat is almost flipping over, and the fish thrashing from the water on the other end. The scene is framed by script depicting the event, floral motifs, a small landscape, and the segmented bodies of centipedes.

The ink drawing is unfinished, but depicts the steep faces of karst mountains rising with curling contours out of a thick jungle. End ID.
