i just think that if ahri's tails are canonically so valuable that hunters and common folk alike would attempt to entrap her just for a chance to cut a single one off, that they must have some unusual properties beyond a typical fox tail. ━━━ in fact, i think they shimmer like they're coated in moon dust when they catch the light just so; and when they endure some impact, the shimmering dust gently wafts off before dematerializing. and not simply for visual enthrallment, but because they are truly imbued with deep magic. it is a magic that assists in retaining their pure ivory standard, and the glossy shine they consistently carry.
