RESIDENT EVIL COMING TO DEAD BY DAYLIGHT POST

Hey I'm coming back from the dead as Leon The White to talk about the best part of the Resident Evil showcase : Resident Evil coming to Dead By Daylight !

Yes yes we all saw the trailer, we can't wait to attach that sweet Umbrella Corp charm to our survivors and our killer's hooks but I want to talk to you about the possibilites regarding Survivors, Killer and Map !

SURVIVORS :

Yes I know we all have our preferences as to who we would like to see introduced as survivors and since it's a special occasion, Resident Evil's 25th Anniversary, we'll probably get 2 survivors like the Stranger Things DLC ( which can also mean that we could get other characters skins on top of said characters like Heather Mason getting Alessa Gillespie, Cybil Bennett and Lisa Garland skins ).

Our number one pick is the most obvious, at the end of the showcase, Matthieu Côté delivers this line :

Look, you have two choices here : kill or be killed. It's your call !

Does it sounds familiar ? I hope it does because it's coming directly from this :

So it's safe to assume that our number one character is going to be Claire Redfield !

As for number two, they'll probably pick a male character and huh... Yeah yeah you know what I mean, it's going to be Leon Kennedy.

It makes perfect sense : he's the other part of the duo from Resident Evil 2, the most popular old school RE, and the main protagonist of Resident Evil 4, the game who revolutionized the gaming industry and which brought fresh air to the franchise.

Another reason why it makes perfect sense for this duo to be in this game is that around the same time we will get Infinite Darkness, which features Leon and Claire ! Perfect promotion.

Also don't lie, if they get alternate costumes, you're going to love to play as Leon in his RE4 outfit with the jacket and Claire in her Let Me Live outfit... And the Cleon shippers will be happy.

As for those who would have prefered others like Jill or Chris, or even Rebecca and Billy why not, I'm sure they will be available as Legendary Skins.

KILLER :

Now this one is a particuliar case, and I'm thinking the same thing regarding the map.

They can go the way they did with the Silent Hill chapter and pick something different from the best games : Midwich Elementary School from Silent Hill 1 for the map, Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 as the killer and Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3 as the survivor.

If we go by popularity it would be either Mr.X or Nemesis ( No I'm not counting Lady Dumitrescu because the game isn't out yet and don't lie, her popularity is 100% due to how horny on main you freaks are )

Mr.X will have to be punching survivors as his main attack but as for his secondary I dunno... Maybe mutated Mr.X instead so he could do more damage ? And that way you could have the classic Tyrant from RE1 as a skin ?

As for his Mori it'll probably be a head grab and him crushing your head or he might impale you with his mutated hand/claw before tossing you aside.

( Also you know his chase music is going to be modded into "X gonna give it to ya" )

Nemesis will punch and/or use tentacles to whip you good or catch you, either way he's going to do some damage and you know you will shit your pants when you hear him scream "STAAAAAAAAAARS !" from a distance.

His mori will probably be an oldie but goldie and by that I mean he will grab survivors like Brad and tentacle-throat them to death.

BONUS :

The characters I want for killers here are just ideas I came up with and whom I know will probably not get picked but it's worth mentioning them because you'll agree that they would make great killers.

1/ Nosferatu ( Code Veronica X )

I don't think I have to remind you the fucking bone chilling screams he make when you see him for the first time as Claire in Code Veronica, nor how creepy is his theme during the boss fight ?

Now imagine that in a game where he chase you around with a new rendition of his theme and his tentacles swinging around and attacking you while the others hear him screaming at you in the distance.

Not to forget he could also poison you with the spores he just released so like The Plague he could make you go around the map to find a way to cleanse yourself and here we could see blue herbs being used !

His mori could be one of the death animations from his boss fight in Code Veronica where he brings Claire close to him and impale her with his big tentacle before giving her the "This bitch empty, YEET" treatment.

2/ Alexia Ashford ( Code Veronica X )

Oh boy look at that, another character from Code Veronica, who would have guessed ? ( It's in my TOP 3 RE games so my bad )

Alright Alexia has always been one of my favorites bosses from the Resident Evil series and I think she's honestly one of the best, her design is nasty, her mutations are disgusting and her orchestral theme is just GORGEOUS ( "Ironic" Palpatine said )

Imagine her normal attack being bitchslaps like she gives to Wesker in Code Veronica, nice right ? But for her secondary attack like in the game she throw her blood in a direction and trace a fire line with it, something that can work in DBD since Pyramid Head does something similar with his great knife.

Her mori will probably be her summoning those tentacles from the ground to impale you or grab your leg and smash you on the ground on repeat until you die, or if we stay classic, she can grab you by the throat and light you on fire, burning you alive.

MAP :

As I said earlier during the killer part, they might follow the Silent Hill chapter formula, picking one bit of each game so here are some neat locations to pick from.

1/ The Spencer Mansion

a) The Mansion

It's just too iconic.

b) The Arklay Lab

I will shit myself if I see a Tyrant coming at me while I'm on a gen.

2/ Raccoon City

a) The streets of Raccoon City

You think you can hide but he will find you.

b) The RPD

Nothing better than exploring the corridors of the RPD and seeing a licker passing by a window while trying to sneak around to avoid the killer right ?

3/Rockfort Island

a) Prison Camp

Perfect for the sadistic pleasures of the Entity !

b) Private Residence

I really want to hear another rendition of "The Suspended Doll" when I join the map 👉👈 ... Special mentions to other maps that I can't show because tumblr doesn't allow more than 10 pics :

Regular to Irregular

pairing: jung jaehyun x reader

genre: crack humor, fluff

summary: when in a Wendy’s parking lot, you crash into the car of a CEO of a fashion company and you now have to work for him to pay the damages.

word count: 1638

Chapter One: Regular to Irregular

Decisions began to flood your brain on whether you should go to the drive-thru or sit down inside the establishment to eat the goodies in your biggie bag. You couldn’t decide where to drive your car in the parking lot or the line by the drive-thru. You hummed a childhood tune as you tried to come up with a decision.

“Life is like a hurricane-“ Boom! “Here in Duckburg…”

“Fuck!” A man slams his car door and angrily stomps his way to knock on your window. You scratch your head worried and finally build up the courage to roll down your window.

"May I help you sir?" You don’t keep eye contact as you frantically play with your fingers.

"Yeah, you can. You wanna tell me why the fuck you slammed into my car!"

"Listen man! I'm just trying to get my biggie bag and have a good time listening to childhood songs. Do you know Duck tales? Fucking excellent show! The damage can't be that bad." You hopped out your car ensuring yourself that this little accident is plain and simple. You both turn to face his car and almost instantly the license plate falls to the ground, broken in half.

"See it's not….that bad." You laugh nervously and the man turns to you sighing, "Of course it just had to be today."

"Sorry?"

“Alright listen, I have to go to an important meeting right now so I don’t have time to deal with the common folk.”

“Common folk?”

“I’m taking you with me.” He says with a blank expression on his face.

“Taking me where?? I gotta get home my mom will call the police!” You stammer, but it’s too late he’s already opening the door to his now damaged car, ushering you in. “My mom said not to follow strangers to a secondary location.”

“Well your mom should have taught you how to drive now get in.” You end up following his orders anyway because honestly, he was stubborn and you were tired and hungry.

“I just wanted my biggie bag…” You mutter under your breath and enter the car.

As he drove the two of you to god knows where you were going, you look to your side and him angrily staring at the road due to hitting a red light.

“I’m gonna be late!” He curses and hit the steering wheel.

“Can I get the aux?” He slowly turns to you.

“The aux? You… want the aux? After you fucking crashed into my car?”

“...yes.” He hesitates and looks down to the aux cord and hands it to you. “Thanks.” You instantly go to YouTube and search up Duck Tales theme song. “Life is like a hurricane”

The rest of the drive was silent other than your childhood tunes blasting from the speakers. Once the car came to a stop, you looked at your surroundings and saw a giant building surrounded by stores like Starbucks and Panera Bread.

“Ah. Privilege.” You mutter, as you step foot out of the car. The man sighs again and looks to you.

“Alright we’re going in.”

“Why do I have to come?”

“No questions. Just get inside the building.”

“Yes sir.”

“God you’re a pain in the ass.” He rolled his eyes and you both made your way inside. As you both hurry into the building a man stands there grinning widely.

"You're 15 minutes late sir."

"I know." The man you crashed your car into said to the one grinning.

"You know they are a very important company. You shouldn't keep them waiting like this sir."

"I know." He walks past him in a hurry and you skipped alongside him.

"And who is this?"

"A hostage." You say nonchalantly.

"She's no one important, just ignore her." You both make your way towards the desk at the front.

There was a man with red hair, probably the receptionist, half asleep by the desk. “Good morning sleeping beauty.” The man beside you says as he slams his hand on the desk, alarming the crimson haired man.

“Sorry boss I haven’t gotten enough sleep these past few days.”

“Mhm, doing what exactly?”

“Working of course!” Lies.

“You were at the karaoke bar with Johnny again, weren’t you?”

“Yes sir…” He looks down.

“Alright tell Kun I’m on my way upstairs. I had to pick someone up on the way here.” He glares at you.

“Who’s Kun?”

“You’re really asking me who that is right now?”

“Ok damn never mind.” You follow him to the elevator. He presses the top floor button and you glance over to see him staring at his watch. “Fancy.” You say.

“Do you ever shut up?” He asks.

“No.” Ding! The elevator doors open and you step outside of the lift into a large hallway. “So where are we going?”

“I’m going to a meeting. You’re going to stay here with Jungwoo and don’t cause any trouble.”

“Jungwoo?”

“That’s me! Are you new here too?” A bright orange haired tall boy makes his way over to you. “I’m Kim Jungwoo. I’m in training for designing.”

“Oh hi. I’m (l/n) (f/n). I don’t work here. I just happened to run into this man right here.” You say as you point over to him. “And he kidnapped me from a Wendy’s parking lot.”

“I see.” Is what the orange haired boy says in response to that awful explanation.

“Alright then, Jungwoo make sure she doesn’t set anything on fire.”

“Yes sir!”

You didn’t set anything on fire, but you did manage to escape Jungwoo and follow the man into his meeting.

“All I’m saying is we can’t put a photo of the bombing of Pearl Harbor on a T-shirt!” A man shouts as he slams his fist against the wooden table.

“I don’t see the problem.” Another man calmly states.

“Gentlemen, we cannot just place a tragic historic event onto a T-shirt and call it fashion.” The man who drove you here says. You can just barely hear since you’re hiding underneath the table.

“Not with that attitude we can’t!” A bunch of angry men fill up the conference room with shouting and bickering. You can’t even make out what they’re saying and suddenly you feel hard kick to your thigh.

“Ow!” Silence follows.

“Was that you Mr. Jung?” Kun asks.

“No… but I think I know who it might have been. Get out here.” You crawl out from underneath the table and stand up beside him.

“Who is this?” Kun asks.

“I have been taken someone call my mom.”

“Mr. Jung, did you kidnap this child?”

“Child?? I am 20 years old and in college sir!”

“Oh good lord a millennial!” An old man complains.

“Step outside. Now.”

“But I have an idea!” Everyone stays silent and stares at you to see what you could possibly say next. “While I think that design looks pretty cool, it is insensitive to those affected by the bombing and the Japanese themselves.”

“That’s what I’m saying!”

“But wait- what if, we put an explosion onto the shirt with pearls behind the explosions and it says, ‘pearl-bombed.’” Quiet murmurs of approval can be heard.

“Pearl-bombed?”

“That’s genius.”

“Never thought of that!” Cheers and claps fill up the room as you proudly stand there grinning to the man next to you.

“Mr. Jung Jaehyun, we will stay in touch.” The man Kun says as he shakes his hand. “That worker of yours, she deserves a raise.” The men began to make their way out of the room, leaving just you and Jaehyun.

“So that’s your name. Jaehyun. Interesting.”

“Don’t ever call me that again.”

“But it’s your name.”

“And we’re not friends.”

“But we could be.”

“No thanks. Anyway, how did you even get in here?”

“Oh! Funny story, when Jungwoo looked away, I just held onto the back of your jacket and followed you inside. Can’t believe you didn’t notice.”

“What the hell?”

“Yeah I’m pretty light then, huh? Looks all that Wendy’s didn’t really get to me that bad after all.”

“Ok I have an idea.” You look up to meet his gaze. “You will work for me from now on. You’re now my new assistant and you will help pitch ideas and do anything else I may ask you.”

“Why would I do that?”

“Because you crashed into my fucking car!”

“Ohhhh right. I forgot about that.” You laughed.

“I- I can’t believe this is a real conversation I’m having right now. Your first day is tomorrow morning at 7:30 sharp.”

“That’s early…”

“Uh huh, so show up.”

“You’re just lucky that I have afternoon classes. I expect good pay.”

“You’re only here until you pay for my car damages.”

"Oh…..can I go now? My mother is probably worried about me." You tell Jaehyun and he was about to answer your question when suddenly your phone rang.

"That's probably her, hang on a second." You dig into your pocket and fish out your phone to answer the call.

"Hello?"

"Where are you young lady?" Your mother spoke so clearly on the other line and you clicked your tongue, "In a building."

"Where is this building located?"

"On the privilege side of town."

"Come home right now!" She screamed through the phone and hung up immediately. You put your phone away and looked at Jaehyun, "She wants me home."

"Yeah I heard. Come on, let's go." You two made your way back to his car and drive down to where this all started, to Wendy's. “Alright you can drive yourself home from here. Don’t crash on your way back.”

“Awww you care-“

“I don’t. I just need you in tomorrow at 7:30 sharp.”

“Oh.” He drives off and you get into your car. “Life is like a hurricane…”
