It's funny how I don't even have a real 'tav' anymore. Over the course of my RP blog I completely withdrew Iraestra (my drow, evil route necro wizard tav) from the tav storyline and instead made her a potential follower that you can recruit and save from the cult in Act 2. And I find everything I've done with her so much more interesting than what she'd previously had as just a tav. She's so fully developed and realized that I feel like I could confidently write as a fic character tbh. She's part of the mostly dead Oblodran drow noble house and as such is a powerful psionic and has ties with mindflayers, so she directly helped the Chosen with their flayer & tadpole research, only to have been tadpoled in the end herself (rip).

And I have a resist half-orc Durge, and while I don't shy away from his past or make him this ultra shining light of a protag (he's neutral good at best and not very honorable, has a lot of baggage and tries so, so hard to be good even though he's not, what is goodness even really), I am sitting here wanting to make an in-depth non-resist Durge. Who is just gleefully bloody and awful and goes back to Bhaal because that is their purpose, after all. They just forgot it for a little while.
