why did i just see someone complaining abt ppl headcanoning dndads characters being neurodivergent. And technically they only mentioned ocd and autism specifically. But i suspect it is not just those (although ppl Were also talking about adhd and they didnt seem to have any problem with that! Hm. Wonder Why!)
dog consider that this is a Nonissue. "But but 😭. why are you talking about this in context of a dnd podcast and making them seem like fun character quirks" my brother in christ they literally said they relate to this character and ALSO have that so u KNOW why + even if they didnt it doesnt MATTER as long as they r not being weird abt it
As long as people are respectful (and the ppl theyre referring to Were!) there is quite literally nothing wrong with saying "hey i have xyz disorder and this character shows traits and has relationships that strongly imitate xyz disorder". OR EVEN "hey this character who has been through this traumatic thing probavly has xyz trauma related disorder." Or perhaps "Hey this character meets the criteria for/shows symptoms of xyz and interpreting them as such is a way to explore their character in a new light"
I would argue in fact that it is an issue to say "you arent allowed to talk about any of these in reference to characters because it's making a joke of them" or whatever. Dude people with ocd Exist. And.! people with literally anything else!. it is absurd to imply that mental illnesses/disorders cannot be considered and explored when interpreting stories. Like that is ridiculous

The social butterfly of a Tech Genius

»»—— Crew Member #6 of Space Pirates ATEEZ ——««
all aboard The Perihelion, welcome to the co-pilot’s log system! here you’ll be able to access the crew’s profiles should you wish to read about their journeys: (no nsfw content)
[CAPTAIN] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
an underestimated intellect with huge love for the cyber world and technology
you hear him before you see him in a crowd
a Drex’un who was born and lived his life in the technology-thriving city of Vollurn up until he was invited to join Hongjoong and Seonghwa on their journey
[database file: Drex’uns are often described as demon-borne even though not all bloodlines are derived from infernal ancestry. Purely for the fact that prominent horns protude from their heads, a prehensile tail that’s used for grabbing things and will coil around their legs when upset/nervous, sharp canines and eye colours that cover the entire sclera. Depending on bloodline, some Drex’uns have elemental abilities]
Mingi isn’t sure about his bloodline as he never knew his parents, though his intelligence goes far beyond that of an average being’s. Not only does he process knowledge extremely fast, his memory is remarkable; able to recall even the tiniest details and his ability to analyse/break codes allows him to have free reign in the cyber networks
his teal-coloured horns and tail have onyx gradient tips, adorned with a few gold jewellery (his actual ears are also pierced with hoops) to complement his molten gold eyes
making heads turn, be it for his energetic presence or fashionable attire; “just because I grew up on the streets doesn’t mean I have no pride for my looks”
learnt to be resourceful and street-smart at a young age, knows all the short cuts and side alleys of the city like the back of his hand (he’s had a lot of time to wander around). Also found out that he had a knack for by-passing security systems whenever he needed shelter for the night
frequents the ‘Merripalace Arcade’ where it’s both an underground hangout for tech whizzes and the cyber battlegrounds for competitive players. The first visit gave him a taste of a different kind of freedom and an introduction to the world of hacking. It’s probably one of the few places he’s felt a part of a community; no judgement of your species nor your background but rather your digital reputation is more valued and the sort of technological talents you bring to the network
if there’s one thing Mingi is a natural at it’s socialising, he could walk into a club alone and come back out later with a new social circle if he so wishes
“ok who DON’T you know here?”
“just look at that face, how can you say no to him?” – Mingi is walking proof that Drex’uns can pull off the puppy-dog face and get away with it
he was gifted a second-hand mirage drive by Einux, a Nagzoid [database file: a reptilian humanoid being with serpent ancestry so they tend to have more snake-like features] who became a shot-term mentor figure after Mingi unintentionally helped crack a system code for a database Einux was commissioned to work on (because Mingi thought that guy was just really bad at math on first glance)
[database file: a mirage drive is pretty much a miniature tablet with a hologram touch-screen and every tech whizz would protect theirs with their lives; especially when were layers of secret activities and programs stored into it]
“you remembered to wipe clean the data trail and replace the originals with the dud files right?”
“yeah of course...does planting a virus in the system that will cause ‘Time Warp’ to play every time they try to click open a file counts?”
“Mingi, I

.”
Einux introduced Mingi to his network of contacts and helped set him up with his first commission, safe to say Mingi was at a loss for words when he got his first pay up front (and that was just the deposit)
by the time Yunho had come across Mingi at the Tech Institute, he had been in the cyber scene for 4+ years already and never once had to deal with someone catching him in the act
Mingi.exe has stopped working
he’s met a couple of Sheirzois before but he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t lowkey checking out the blue-haired giant whilst panicking on the inside, he’d argue there’s always time to appreciate beauty
two options popped into his mind then and there; either he bribed his way out (as his mentor taught him) or he attempted to maybe throw some punches and then make a getaway
(expectation) looks like he’s intimidating & can fight vs. (reality) he’d probably cry if he hit someone & is just a soft boy all-round
extra trivia: ironically for an infernal being, Mingi doesn’t deal well with anything supernatural/ghosts-related. Once Woo and Yeosang pranked him, Yunho helped a little but he doesn’t need to know, and convinced him that the basement storage hanger was haunted after totems started appearing in odd places along with ominous noises. Mingi was so ready to abandon ship before Hongjoong did damage control & Jongho promised he’d fight all the ghosts for him
was already metaphorically weeping at the thought of having to empty his money pouch but turned out that Otis (his multi-coding bot) had somehow manage to win the Sheirzoi over along with an invite to drinks
“I’ve got many questions for you regarding your efficiently adorable bot”
“
and I to you as well, BUT first do you have a name? And secondly have you been to ‘Le Apollon’? Coz if not they make some really mean Northern Drops there!”
Yunho turned out to be one of the most chilled individual Mingi has met and he didn’t mind the other’s enthusiastic discussions about all technological inventions, and was even just as enthusiastic to share with Yunho about his own passion for cyber tech
one too many drinks later Mingi was accidentally spilling secrets he definitely wasn’t meant to and even ended up dancing on the table at some point, all while Yunho hyped his new friend up on the side
was forever grateful that Yunho never ratted him out to the authorities and consider him shook for the 2nd time in that day when he was offered a roof over his head, a more permanent one too
“do you want to be the big spoon, or is it my turn? We can rotate!”
thus the bromance of all bromances was born
living with Yunho not only meant Mingi would wake up to good vibes, but more than often would wake up to either the screeching of the smoke alarm or “HOLY SMOKES WHERE ARE THE WATER PODS? DID WE RUN OUT OF THEM? AGAIN?!”
putting out accidental fires became second nature to Mingi, initially he’d aggressively fret over Yunho but now he’s come to accept such is the life of a chaotic bright inventor and this is fine
in fact when Hongjoong and Seonghwa came across their humble abode (thanks to Yunho’s cleaning bot) it was an iconic first meeting over smoke. Yunho did most of the talking when Hongjoong pitched his desire to recruit a crew for space voyage, Mingi too busy sitting there staring at the two new-comers with shooting stars in his eyes and hearing about the prospects of an adventure. Within that day the crew had gain 2 more members, because Mingi and Yunho are a combo package deal
“oh has the system be glitching? If you don’t mind, would you like me to have a look at it?”
Hongjoong did a happy dance on the spot knowing that not only did he now have a talented inventor on his ship but also a gifted tech genius, he put Mingi in charge of managing the mainframe systems along with intel collecting this decision that Hongjoong would later semi-regret because (at times) the word “self-control” doesn’t seem to exist in Mingi’s vocab
Seonghwa adopted him and Yunho pretty easily and space mum’s cooking is Mingi’s fave, occasionally using his puppy-dog face he’s perfected over the years to his advantage in gaining extra midnight snacks (being everyone’s baby, no one’s really immune to this)
“Hwa you’re supposed to be the one disciplining the kids!”
Mingi and Yunho were known to be the chaotic fun duo, but with Wooyoung is just chaotic – not to mention he got his Yunhogizer confiscated by Hongjoong for almost a week after, “I thought we were all comparing assets, Wooyoung sent his to the group chat so I figured this was some kind of crew bonding”
also was one half of the reason that the ‘whatever happens at the Tav/clubs, stays at the Tav/clubs’ rule got implemented and one-night sexytimes were banned aboard The Perihelion after Jongho witnessed a random still semi-nude humanoid trying to sneak out of Mingi’s room without being noticed (Hwa went on parent-mode and panicked yell whilst covering Jongho’s eyes)
Jongho avoided Mingi (out of sheer embarrassment) for a few days and that was pretty devastating, considering how close the two became in their friendship that Mingi was one of the very few people in the crew whom Jongho was openly clingy with at times
no one can argue about Mingi’s loyalty to his crew/new family, and under his care-free flamboyant exterior he’s a genuine listener and will not hesitate to offer his shoulder for his family to lean on whenever they need it
recently he’s created new software to enhance Seonghwa’s cybernetic lenses (as a birthday gift) that’d allow him to see clearly miles ahead, in the dark and lock-on tracking function. What Mingi failed to let Hwa know was that he still hasn’t disconnected the sync link to his mirage drive and therefore if, for example, an image was sent through it’d appear in the other user’s field of vision
“wait for it, wait”
“what exactly are we waiting for Mingi? And why are you giggling over a screaming pink
starfish?” (that’s Patrick Star by the way)
seconds later there was a clamouring from the bathroom, the solid sound of someone falling before, “MINGI!”
“that my good lads, is what we were wa-oh whoops gotta go!”

Start: Prologue
Previous: Chapter 5
Next: Chapter 7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chapter 6
A week had passed since Ryan decided against erasing Luke’s memory. Of course, not everyone was thrilled about the idea of a human who they barely knew knowing about the existence of sirens. At first Smitty nor Marcel has warmed up to the idea, least of all Marcel, but after seeing how happy Ohm was. Marcel learned to tolerate it, and Smitty was still taking some time to adjust to the newcomer. Evan had confirmed from Jonathan that Luke was a good person despite his southern rugged appearance, though Evan himself was a bit skeptical of Cartoonz. Despite all that Brock was the only one who had no problem with the older male, in fact, he became fast friends with Luke.
“You really like him don’t you?” Brock’s tease caused Ryan to light up with a shade of pink. Brock didn’t usually poke fun at his friends, but considering that a blind person could tell that Ryan had grown attached to Luke he couldn’t possibly resist.
“Maybe?” Ryan’s giggles had placed a smile on Brock’s face, it had been years since he had seen Ohm so lively. Like all the others no one talked much about their previous lives or why they came to Evernor to seek refuge. Brock knew that each member of his pod had been through a rough life. So he couldn’t feel anything but happiness when he saw them at peace.
“Are you planning on attending the Iris Festival this year? Luke asked if I’d go with him.” Brock winced at Ohm’s question. The Iris Festival brought back too many familiar memories of his past, something he desperately wished to forget, usually on this night he’d stay hidden in the underwater cavern attempting to block out the music and flood of flashbacks. None of the others would ask why he hated being around the festival’s joyous atmosphere, but he knew they were dying to get him to join them. As much as he wanted to, it seemed like too much for him. “Moo?”
Brock snapped out of his thoughts receiving a worried glance from Ryan. He ran his fingers through his loose locks while taking a deep breath to drown out his thoughts. “I’m fine. No, I don’t think I’ll be going this year either.”
“Brock you-” Before Ryan could complain about his decision a certain little bell rang as a certain Irishmen opened his workshop door and waved for Brock to come over. Brock glanced to Ryan before he reluctantly let him go. “We’re not finished I will convince you to go this year.”
“Don’t count on it.” His answer was dismissed as Ryan walked towards the shoreside (probably to see Luke) Brock quickly made his way towards the door of the workshop allowing the familiar bell to chime as he strolled in. He patiently waited for Brian as he assisted three large gentlemen at the register.
“No way, you three from Ireland too?”
“Dublin itself.” Brock felt the hair on his arm stand up. He didn’t know why, but the atmosphere surrounding the three men felt...dangerous. Maybe because they were newcomers, either way he wanted to make himself as invisible as possible. He quietly looked at some of the stores' products as he waited for Brian to wrap things up.
“So what brings ye to our little town?”
“The usual. The sites, the festival, the legends.” Brock felt a shiver run down his spine as the smallest out of the three men casually talked with Brian. Even though he was turned around, he knew someone was looking right at him. Burning holes into him as if they were waiting for him to turn around and look directly at them. He resisted the urge as the discussion continued.
“Ah. Well sorry to disappoint buddy, but there hasn’t been a site of one in a long time.”
“You never know. Anyways t’anks for de stuff.”
As the three men walked out of the store Brock felt air reach his lungs and sighing in relief. He’d never such fear from a group of humans before, he’d make sure to avoid those three as much as possible. “Brocky.”
“Yeah?” Brock watched as Brian jumped over his cash register as Brian followed to where his voice came from.
“You good? You seem a bit pale.” Brock smiled to try and disguise his worry.
“I’m good. Umm was there something you wanted to talk about or what?”
“Yeah, I...I wanted to know if you’d go with me to de festival tomorrow?”
Brock froze at Brian’s proposal the very thing he wished to avoid talking about was now being presented to him in a way that if he felt he couldn’t refuse. He’d be swimming in guilt all evening tomorrow if he turned down Brian, but he couldn’t do it. He wasn’t ready to relive the memories even if it was with Brian. He couldn’t have Brian look at him like he was a monster he would never forgive himself if he did.
“I can’t, not again?”
“What? What can’t you do again?”
“I-I can’t. I’m sorry....” Brock couldn’t stop himself from running out of the shop leaving behind a heartbroken Brian as he ran until his legs burned urging him to stop, but he keep going letting them lead him into the sea.
~*~
“Scotty!” Before Scott could put down his suitcase a figure lunged at him causing him to lose his balance.
“Fuck that hurt.” Scotty laughed as the small ball of energy complained about his own actions.
“You can blame yourself for that one, bud.” Scott inhaled the sweet smell of candy-filled smoke along with the familiar scent of the town. How he missed home. Sure visiting his hometown of Florida was a blast, even if his visit involved work, but the town of Evernor was a place he now called home. He’d missed his friends, the brewery and most of all his apartment. How he missed his bed too.
“How was your trip?” Smitty asked him he rolled off before he pulled Scott back up. “Was it fun, did you miss us?”
“Calm down Smitty he just got back. Let the guy breath.” But how he missed Marcel. The guy who always knew how to make him laugh and comfort him. Now he was here once again in the town he very much loved. He couldn’t be happier.
“It’s alright. My trip was fine, it did make me think about moving back to Florida.” Scotty laughed as the three faces in front of him shifted from joy to shock. “I’m kidding, there’s no way I’d move back. It’s too hot down there, but it was a lot of fun I got to help some marine life return to the ocean too.”
“That’s awesome, what kind of animals?” Scotty could practically see the excitement radiating off of Smitty.
“Some dolphins, a baby orca and I got to help with surgery on a sea turtle.” Scotty loved his job being a marine biologist, even if there was some irony to his job, he loved it nonetheless.
“Aww, what was wrong with it?”
“Fish hook.” As gross as it is, it was a duty that Scotty would do again and again to help save marine life. He hated getting those assignments because he always felt guilty though it was never really his fault. He was so relieved when the surgery went without complications.
“Yup that’ll do it. Marcel remember when I accidentally swim through the sand and got a fish hook stuck on my-” Marcel’s hand quickly covered Smitty’s mouth. Smitty eyes widened out of surprise before Marcel’s glare fell on directly on Smitty causing the younger male to slightly panic.
“No, wait I wanna hear the rest of the story.”
“Maybe later I kind of wanted to talk to you. Alone.” Scotty questioned why Marcel throw a glare at Smitty and John (who was making quiet kiss noises in the background) but shrugged it off.
“Sure come one you can help with my stuff.” Marcel quickly helped with Scott’s luggage as Smitty and John walked into the town. “Whatcha wanna talk about?”
“I umm...I wanted to umm...I just...I was wondering-” Scotty listened to the stuttering of his usually confident and cold friend (which he found hilarious) as it caused him to turn into a nervous wreck.
“Yes?”
“Will you come with me to the festival tomorrow?” Scott looked back at Marcel to see looking at the ground in shame? Maybe not shame, but it seemed like it.
“Of course we always go to the festival together it’s what friends do.” Scotty gave Marcel a soft smile as he returned one before Scotty unlocked his apartment. Allowing the two into the small living quarters. Scott thought he heard Marcel say something else, but shook it off. He could have sworn he heard him say something like.
“I wish it could be different this year.”
Closer: Chapter II
SIX MONTHS AGO
‘Hey Baby.’
‘Ugh, get off me Tom.’ I push the arm off my shoulder with a disgusted look and snarl at the blonde beside me. I have yet to recall a time where Tom wasn’t trying to get into my pants, but from my memory there isn’t one. He’s a slimy git who’s constantly getting on my nerves and looking to satisfy his carnal desires with me, Well, it’s not going to happen. As bad as my reputation is, I still have standards. I am fully aware of the fact that I’m no saint, considering the three deep bruises covering the length of my sunkissed neck, but on the whole, I like to think I’m not a whore.
Jackson would say otherwise. Wang and I are pretty dynamite to be honest. I mean, that’s what you get when you know someone for the better half of your life. Forget ‘diapers and pacifiers’ we got close in high school; yeah, you know, the important years when you make your friends for life and all that jazz? To be fair, it did play out true. When I was younger and being called out and constantly reminded of my partially parentless status, my mother always told me that friends at this age didn’t matter, that it was only when I grew older, went through puberty, that I would learn to make proper friends. For once she was right about something. Jackson came into my life at a dark stage, he’s the only one who knows the history of my tragic family background and the secrets I hide behind a façade of pearly whites. I love Jackson. He doesn’t judge, doesn’t take sides and always is there to listen to my honestly terrifying rants. He’s honestly a fucking ray of sunshine in my very stormy, turbulent life, one of the only constants. But he’s also stupid as hell sometimes.
‘It’s Bae!’ A pair of outstretched arms come towards me and I slap them away. ‘Fuck off Wang,’ I mutter as I roll my eyes. ‘Well, hello to you too,’ he muses, falling into step with me, ‘What’s got your panties in a twist today?’ He high-fives some of the frat members as he passes them, greeting them with unnecessary cheers and some long, complicated handshakes. Again, unnecessary. Ugh, boys. I will never understand. As pulling his arm isn’t working and he’s slowing me down, I turn to him and fold my arms. ‘Just so you know, my panties aren’t in a twist because I was wearing a thong. And furthermore, I wouldn’t know if they are in a twist or not, because they’re currently not covering my ass.’ That does it, and seven pairs of amused eyes stare back at me, eyes shot up. ‘Wait, what?!’ Jackson’s jaw hangs and I use a finger to push it back up and close it. I roll my eyes again, something that seems to be very common nowadays. ‘Oh for fuck’s sake Jackson, don’t be so dramatic. Now can we please go?’ I wave it off and tap my foot on the ground impatiently, watching as his face contorts from one of surprise to one of annoyance and he narrows his eyes. ‘Who is it?’ He asks suspiciously, as if he’s questioning some sort of murder case. Jackson Wang: investigator? I think the fuck not. ‘That’s actually none of your concern.’ I raise an eyebrow and purse my lips. Jackson continues to frown and out the corner of my eye I spot his frat members watching quietly, highly amused. This isn’t something new. We’re always in situations like this. Jackson isn’t exactly approving of the way I tend to flit around with my sex life, and well, relationships. Or lack thereof. In his mind, I should find myself a decent guy who will restore all ideas of fairytale romance and true love, and settle down in a nice big house with twenty children for him to ‘uncle around’. Not bloody likely. We both know that romance really isn’t my forte, and the only relations I have are sexual ones, with fairly hot men who are usually beasts in the sheets. I won’t stand to have some boy following me around all day and constantly questioning my whereabouts, my life details and aspirations. It’s not worth the time or effort to maintain. Besides, the closest I’ve ever had to a relationship is my weekly shags with a certain member of the ZTA frat, who is, by the way, pretty well endowed down there. (Thus the repetition of events.) Apart from that, I really haven’t ever been close to serious with anyone. Ever. I mean, I lost my virginity at some high school party to the prom king. Big deal. I honestly couldn’t care less about the breaking of a barrier. It doesn’t matter to me. Sex is just another part of human nature. So long as I don’t end up with a mini-me in my care, it’s all good. No matter what Wang puppy thinks.
Seeing as Jackson is acting like a kid and refusing to budge until he gets an answer, I tilt my head and let out a huff. ‘Fine. If you must know-’ Before my confession, a pair of arms slide around my middle and a warm breath falls upon my neck as the musky smell of Dolce and Gabbana’s Light Blue fills my senses. ‘Eyyy, how’s everything at ZTA Tae?’ Jaebum slaps his arm and he lets go of me and moves to engulf his ‘bro’ in a hug. ‘We’re so crashing your party this week.’ ‘Be my guest.’ A wolfish grin spreads across his face and I take the time to admire just how attractive he is when he smiles. As the AKP boys circle around to talk to Tae, I take the time to relish in how, despite my lack of relationship, it feels good to be at the centre of high society. I wouldn’t use anything less to describe theses boys. They’re the future billionaires and tycoons of the country, popular, hot, successful and effortlessly cool. And here I am, standing right in the middle of them, one of their arms around my shoulder. Life is good.
Kim Taehyung is a little hard to describe in words. He is vibrant and energetic, super fun and zesty. In the bed too, might I add. He’s what I like to call ‘my kinda person’. Tae and I go way back. Remember that prom king I mentioned earlier? Well, Tada. Since being crowned together at high school, we haven’t looked back. Somehow, whilst Wang puppy is the yin to my yang, he’s another yang that I get along with just fine. We think the same and act the same, like two peas in a pod. He’s one of the few people who can really make me smile and laugh like no other. We both don’t believe in relationships, and even though I used to think I would somehow end up with him, it’s been pure fun and recklessness for the past three years. It’s actually funny how I ended up back with him. We parted ways after a summer of releasing our crazy hormones on each other, and then somehow met again in our first year I was invited by my flavor of the week, Jeon Jungkook, to his frat house. Needless to say, Jungkook wasn’t the one I ended up banging. I love it with Tae because it’s so easy and simple. We have mutual respect for each other, a true connection and chemistry and no hard feelings whatsoever. He’s attractive and fun, and he doesn’t complain if I ditch him or set my eyes on someone else. It’s a mutually benefitting relationship that I treasure. Besides, I get to spend loads of time with the ZTA boys that have become some of my closest pals, who always promise a hilarious and crazy time. I’m familiar with the AKP boys but nowhere near as close to them as the ZTA frat. The AKP is led by Mark Tuan and the ZTA is led by Kim Namjoon. Needless to say, AKP is way more exclusive and ‘high up there’ compared to ZTA. They’re both still the best frats in the college and up in the country’s top 5. It’s just whilst ZTA is number four, AKP is number one. And I totally understand why. In AKP it’s not just about parties and fun, and boys with more money than they need to go around. It’s about being the prime. To get into ZTA you need to be fun, daring, smart and rich. To get into AKP you need to be able to throw insane parties whilst attending formal dinners with the president. Big difference. But hey, I like my AKP boys. With the leadership of Namjoon they’re nothing short of fun and amazing. He’s not very strict or exclusive, he’s an open guy who’s opposed to restriction and exclusion and very happy to have company over. The boys are like young bloods, a very excitable and fiery bunch. Far more so than the AKP boys. To most of us, they’re pretty much untouchable. Like Jordan in the Great Gatsby. Phenomenal parties, insane amounts of funds raised, dominating the famous college football team and straight-A students. Yet, totally exclusive and always suspecting and doubting. According to Jackson they’re really nice and fun guys, and they just prefer to keep their private lives private for fear of people leaking things to the press. But I still don’t see it. Sometimes, I still feel uncomfortable when I’m alone with them without Wang puppy. Trust him to diffuse the tension with his retarded jokes.
I catch Mark’s eyes as the conversation goes on, and the sounds fade away into white noise as they lock onto mine for a second. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding as the hard stare continues. It’s like he’s reading my thoughts and onyx eyes bore into mine. Then, he looks away and I blink. What was that? I shudder as I look away just as the conversation comes to an end. Then, I realize that Mark’s eyes are still staring. Not at me, but the muscular arm around my shoulder. Oh. He probably disapproves of Tae going after me. It’s famously known that Mark thinks highly of Tae and thinks he’s one of the best football players around. Somehow, I don’t think he approves of his choice of girl. After all, had he chosen someone more appropriate, he would be nearly as perfect as the boys in AKP. Untouchable by anyone apart from their own league. Personally, I just think Mark has a problem with me. He’s always known for being the king of fun and games, but with me? He just becomes the silent, brooding type. Weird, huh? I think he just thinks I’m a bad influence for Jackson, despite Wang’s protests. ‘He’s just assessing you,’ he always defends. Huh. More like judging. I don’t get what there is to assess. Or judge. I’m pretty much an open book. Well, at least that’s what it looks like. I have an opinion, I say it. I have an issue, I put it on the table. Everything is out in the open, except for the biggest things. Ironic, huh?
‘Baby, I gotta dash.’ I’m blown out of my reverie as Tae presses a kiss to the side of my forehead. ‘Staying over?’ he whispers. The boys wolf whistle as he turns and presses his lips onto mine, his tongue asking for permission. ‘Not here, Hyung!’ Jackson groans as he covers his eyes. Tae chuckles and pulls me to him. Then he pulls something red and lacy out of his pocket as he kisses me one last time. ‘Gotta come over and get it, sweetheart.’ He waves it as he retreats and slowly, I lose him in the sea of passing students. I throw my head back and laugh, turning back to face Jackson. ‘What?’ I giggle at the ‘dawning of a realization’ expression on his face.
‘You guys fucked BEFORE school?’ He gapes.
‘Wang, you’re dumb as fuck.’
