also about that "conspiracy theory" lets not forget that the album was announced and he said it was 80% done before they even announced they were with fbr, so while they might be responsible for some changes, its lowkey weird that parxies are claiming the lack of quality, fun, etc in this era is fbr's fault

#i think at this point in the band they’re all just tired. they’re getting older. most things for them are at a standstill #i get why awsten would try to pick things up for some small hope at getting parx back on track for success again but also #being consumed by the business side has clearly been affecting him and the music parx puts out now #and ugh god i don't really want to compare them because they're at such different scopes of experiences but #it's kinda similar to how my chem dealt with danger days trying to make a 'happy' album after making black parade #but even that failed in the end because their popularity was waning the band was starting to fall apart and all that stuff #but the main difference between them and parx is that they actively defied what people expected their image to be #instead of parx rn who seem to play into a very shallow image of themselves with their new stuff that feels like a stilted performance #if parx manages to survive one more album after parx5 it's likely going to have kinda depressing themes and then they'll be off
