hi! I really like your wc au and I kinda want to know more about phoenix/goldenheart??

He started out as a kittypet named Phoenix, and visited the forest a few times when he was little - that was how he met Silverpaw (Miles)! But eventually Silverpaw stopped showing up to their meeting place, and he was chased off StoneClan territory after one too many visits.

It was a long time later that Dahliathorn (Dahlia) showed up in his yard, on the run from the territories after attacking Bitternose (Diego). She masqueraded as a loner named Dollie, and Phoenix trusted her immediately, asking her what she knew of the clans and whether she knew Silverpaw. Phoenix wanted to explore the forest, but Dollie kept him behind with warnings of danger - she feared if he went in, he'd lead the clans to her hiding place.

After he ventured out anyway and crossed paths with ThornClan's medicine cat Swallowleaf (Doug), Dollie killed Swallowleaf behind his back. Phoenix stumbled across and ran from the body, and was caught by MoonClan warrior Mothtail (Mia). When she brought him to investigate the scene, ThornClan warriors accused Phoenix of killing the medicine cat, but Mothtail correctly deduced that Dollie was involved, and had Phoenix lead them all to her. Phoenix led them in the wrong direction and slipped away to warn Dollie, and he was attacked for his trouble - Mothtail saved him in the nick of time, but was forced to kill Dollie in the process.

After that debacle, Phoenix expressed an interest in joining the clans so he wouldn't be chased off again - he still needed to find out what happened to Silverpaw. So he was accepted into MoonClan and had his name changed to Goldenpaw, and was apprenticed under Mothtail.
