#:) #going through the final fights of a replay of Y version and i Still after a whole decade do not know how to feel about these games #i think they're weird because they have some of the best earlygame and lategame segments in the series but they have exactly no midgame #everything after the 3rd gym until you catch the legendary pokemon is a breakneck blur #which is weird because that's like. supposed to be the bulk of the game #but you spend the majority of your playtime leading up to the second gym and travelling to the eighth #very unbalanced very odd games that i love dearly but have no idea if they're good or not
