I've seen a couple people nitpick Ed and the crew's reaction to his death saying that they didn't think they looked sad enough (?????)

Like I understand they're all still processing their favorite character dying and emotions are still running high but like. I don't think these people understand how grief works outside of hollywood movies

(and also Edward was literally bawling his eyes out as he was dying in his arms what the fuck are you talking about)

#like not to get too personal about this but #ive had to grieve a number of people i loved deeply #and i did not shed a single tear or show any outward sign of despair #because that's something that happens sometimes!! #how much you cry isn't necessarily proportionate to how severe the loss was #i've cried for ridiculous things and i've been completely stoic during massively traumatic events #the brain just does that sometimes #of all the things you could be nitpicking this is one of those that worry me because like #i sincerely hope you don't scrutinize people irl like this #ofmd #ofmd s2 #ofmd s2 spoilers #ofmd spoilers
