Hello!! Okay! It originated in this post by @tamsong, the idea being elves had estrous cycles instead of periods. Which led to the conclusion that elves have heat cycles and that makes a/b/o elves closer to canon.

I know because of this there's art of Alden in a shirt calling him an omega. I think Tiergan and Prentice also have shirts. However I need to leave in like five minutes so I can't look for it at the moment--I believe @camelspit drew it, so you can check there!

Others made posts as well, which you can peruse, but that's the gist of it! Maya said elves have estrous cycles and the fandom jumped on the opportunity :)
