I'm legitimately enjoying writing for the AU. I always took a liking to Default Durge's concept.

I know some people can say that it may take away from Tav being the MC, but in a way, they kinda connect to each other so well that either one could be considered the main.

Durge was connected to the plot so well that he was his own character as is. It felt missing without him.

Yet, Tav, even if they are a blank slate. The player has freedom to choose who they are or what they've done.

It feels almost like a perfect balance. Durge being heavily involved in BG3, while the player is a mystery. A force that can change the nature of the game regardless if they had a rough life like the party members, or an average life.

So, I definitely wanted to show them all interacting with the party members and each other together!

I see a lot of discussions regarding if Tav or Durge is better. And honestly? I love both and think they are equally important.
