#narspeaking #i know this is probably a one off thing for one comic in a larger story but like #i (cringe) honestly kinda squealed when i sawit #because i have an 'alfred is batman' au where he uses a mf SWORD #cuz that's the coolest and most on brand shit IMAGINABLE #personally im not a big fan of the whole 'alfred likes guns' thing #at least in my alfred is the bat au he doesnt use them bc same they killed his best friends and permanently traumatised his child simlr 2 B #the idea of stocking the streets with a gun is just unstomachable to him #plus young bruce is deathly afraid of all guns/bangs/pops/loud noises and he like has breakdowns at the sight/sound of them #so there are absolutely no guns within miles of the manor #but alfred is a Dramatic Bitch so hes like 'you know what? i have to look intimidating? sword time bitch' #and rather than gadgets his dig is mostly deception wit and swordcraft #anyway dc hire me challenge #i have so much for this i didn't even get to baby inventor Bruce as robin #lmk if y'all want to hear
