perks of being asexual with zero interest in sex: i would not be getting intimate with anyone and thus notice the fire quicker and get out safe

cons of being a lazy asexual dumbass, specifically: no i wouldn’t. maybe i smell smoke but i’m comfortable, i don’t want to move, it’s probably nothing...maybe i smell smoke but it’s probably coming from outside...maybe a ghost burnt some toast...idk should be gone when i wake up in the morning, it’s probably fine

#9-1-1: lone star #i wish this was a joke #sdlfshdfkshdlkfhskdfsd #i live with flatmates currently. 3 of them originally but 2 now #last year i lived with 5 originally then 4 #i have had several experiences where i've been in my room. smelt smoke. went: eh. i'm comfortable. it's probably nothing #by the time i drag myself out of bed to check i'll open my door and just walk into like a wall of smoke sdfjhskdjfhs #MINOR smoke don't get me wrong but visible smoke covering the room nevertheless #another time it was so bad we couldn't get rid of the smoke smell for DAYS #and it still took me like 5 minutes to check #i'd be fuckin dead sdfksdkfhsdf #when i lived with my parents our neighbour sometimes lit fires in winter and the smoke from that would drift over to our place #by lit fires i DO mean in the fireplace fyi #and you'd get a faint smoke smell. hence the probably outside thing sdfjsfks #sometimes i just smell shit that isn't there too i stg #in conclusion: i get a better chance of surviving however unfortunately i am an idiot and would not
