a friend's wedding is literally the worst place to get a migraine. i legit felt like i was in hell </3

#i had a worsening headache basically the whole day until dinner time when it became a full-on migraine :') #thank god one of my friends had some ibuprofen nearby and gave me one bc idk where i had packed mine 😭 #it took three hours for the headache to mostly disappear but i was incredibly nauseous the whole time 🥲 fucking horrible #like i was hungry af but couldn't eat bc i was afraid i would throw up and had to deal with all the noise :( #then i realized i could eat some fish & tofu bc the taste was so mild it didn't trigger my gag reflex <3 i was so happy i almost cried #later on my nausea dissipated and i could eat sweet potatoes & dessert. the joy i felt? indescribable. #thankfully the lightning in the room was very dim bc my light sensitivity during migraines is super high. #i also had a very 'fun' new migraine symptom i don't ever remember having before: vertigo :) #anyways that was that glad it passed but now i feel a new headache coming so i better go to bed. whoo. #my posts
