i'd still like to implement madi into my canon, because her dynamic with clarke is genuinely like the one thing i like past season 3. i already have ideas too ,,, clarke touring different clans either with lexa or for the sake of showing courtesy as an ambassador, and also an opportunity to learn and empathize. and she gets to shallow valley and there's this stick of a girl who seems unafraid but then she trips and lo-and-behold, black oozes out of the scrape on her knee and suddenly she terrified and feral but clarke ushers her from sight, soothes her, patches her up without a word and only a wink to disclose secrecy because she wouldn't dare drag this child into the maws of lions, so to speak. not for tradition and not even out of respect for lexa.

she does visit often afterwards, though, with excuses that louwoda kliron kru inspires her artistic abilities, with the vibrancy of their territory and their love for colored fabrics. when in fact she's visiting the little nightblood to ensure her safety and comfort.

(she eventually has to break it to lexa like; hey, i adopted this feral kid a few months back and now i'm bringing her back with me so no one else can discover and take her. also she's a nightblood but you can't do anything with that because she's a child and you promised you would end those traditions. okay? okay.)
