Tiers in Pokemon are so fucking fake like they created an entire new tier after the release of ORAS because mega rayquaza was JUST that OP and most legendary Pokemon find themselves in the “Uber” tier with a handful of mega evolutions and then Aegislash and Blaziken for some reason, but the “Uber” tier is also fake because mega metagross is on there but regular metagross isn’t and I beat a mega metagross that was over 10 levels stronger than me in ORAS with my regular metagross because Steven is an idiot and I had Earthquake

#stormy speaks #but this does explain why my ORAS playthrough was absolute ass except for that one specific moment #i KNEW I should've went with torchic but nooo i didnt want to bc i had the event torchic in XY #fucking treecko #i love grass starters but i dont trust them unless they're tanks or decidueye #even decidueye is iffy but i literally hate fighting with serperior and sceptile #except my shiny serperior who for some reason is good but every other snivy line ive ever trained was absolute ass #and my oras sceptile is also ass #my shiny serperior has contrary so maybe thats why or its IVs are fucking ripped i cant remember #but i still cant pick frail grass starters as my starters bc i cant have them as my primary partner i will Die #like starters are rlly op compared to other pokemon ESP early-game ones and i NEED a strong one #my shiny snivy wasnt my starter - it was smth i brought over to use for fun #primarina isn't exactly a tank - esp compared to empoleon and samurott - but its good enough #so i got a decent speedster (snivy) and a decent all-arounder (popplio) #like i could be fine if i had snivy AND oshawott (or tepig but i like oshawott better) #but not. him on his own. wheezes #also looks at ORAS #probably the same situation but im never touching treecko again unless it's an event pokemon that i can choose to or not to use
