#i requested a commission last month and the person just contacted me saying they were going to work on it #and i just sat and looked through their gallery because i actually wasn't super familiar with them and #and i'm like... so excited hahahahhaahahahhaa #we have the same taste in body types and weird dynamics #and one of the characters they draw a lot (idk if it's an OC or what) is already very similar to how i draw chine including covered-in-frec #kles #so i just... know they're going to fucking nail it #i cannot describe how exciting it is to be able to commission somebdoy every once in a while ;_____; #i'm so used to not even being able to afford gas to work and suddenly #every now and again #i can afford a little treat #a big treat really #so glad that i finally called my company's bluff and threatened to leave for real (and consequently got a significant raise) #hahahhahaha i can't believe i'm commissioning folks and not starving what a life!! #33 is going to be a good year #(i'm extra hyped up because there's a good chance they'll finish it right around my birthday and - what a gift! what a treat! <3) #and i didn't give them a prompt and they said they were fine without one so it's going to be a complete surprise! wonder what they'll do! #wow i love art and the way people can just... make things out of lines and colors isn't that wild? we are very fancy animals
