So my mum, who is fully aware I'm disabled and all my energy is going towards the blanket I'm making to propose to my girlfriend, just tried to commission me.

When I said I couldn't both come up with a concept, decide a medium, and complete a project in time for her best friend's birthday in the next 2 months, she

suggested I delay my engagement because she can't be bothered to just buy her a present.
