#Alfred might be Bruce's first father figure #but I personally like to imagine that while Alfred embodies the loving/nurturing aspect of being a father #Ra's embodies the more complicated side of being a father #and by complicated I mean how both of them might be at odds #but they still have deep respect toward each other #and wish that the other person would compromise for them so that they can finally be a happy family together #but neither of them are willing to do that. #fatherhood isn't alway rainbow and sunshine after all #ra's al ghul #bruce wayne
