Today I worked on set for the first time since Nov 2019, when I took a hiatus from all auditions and bg dayjob work bc my health was so poor. I was overwhelmed by doc appts and the 7 month long fight it took to get my nervous system thoroughly tested. I'm currently in month 6 of my 2nd round of this--yes, all over again. I didn't set out to do this, but was requested specifically from my agent to be a part of the project. I don't like to let people down and I thought maybe it would be a good test to see where my body is at, since I used to work on set 1-4x a week and be sick as a dog. Today wasn't a "hard" bg day. It was actually pretty chill. But not for my body. It was the most I'd sat up, stood up, and walked around (all often without my back brace) without constant breaks to lie down on the floor in nearly 2 years. My pain was torturous. The nausea like a hand around my throat. By the time I had to drive home, I wondered if I would have to pull over to puke like I've done before. The night before, I was a mess. I was so anxious and stressed that I had to use sedatives and they weren't enough. Even though it ended up being a fun and interesting day, if we ignore what I had to endure. I couldn't even relax in the bath, my body was freaking out. My limbs and spine scream. My resting heart rate keeps jumping from 64 to 101. My vision is blurry around the edges. Yawning causes a spasm below my ribs which is agonizing. I need to hydrate but my enlarged ovary is making me have to pee every 30 mins and the low-back pain is epic. My throat and eyes burn. My legs are half-numb but they still hurt. My TEETH hurt like they're full of hot liquid metal. My temperature is a little low. My tummy feels ice cold. My pelvis feels like it's stuck in tar and being pulled down away from me. I'm on the floor now, with a heating pad on my belly and my red light shining on me. My vape is blinking and I plan on medicating until my brain and body stop spitting static. None of this is really new. But going back to my "old job" and seeing just what it does to my body makes me realize, it's not just family, doctors, random ignorant people online, and the government who don't see me as disabled. I'm far more disabled than even I realize.

My translation: 

10 And the one supplying seed to the one sowing and bread unto eating will supply and will multiply your seed and will grow the produce of your righteousness. 11 In all things you are being enriched unto all sincere generosity, which produces through us thanksgiving to God; 12 for the service of this duty is not only refilling the things lacking of the holy ones, but also overflowing with many thanksgivings to God.

The language of the first half of this verse comes from the LXX of Isaiah 55:10: καταβῇ ὑετὸς ... δῷ σπέρμα τῷ σπείροντι καὶ ἄρτον εἰς βρῶσιν (“the rain comes down and gives seed to the sower and bread for eating”). 

ἐπιχορηγέω (5x) is, “supply” (most translations), “provide” (HCSB, NET), “give” (BDAG), an intensified form of χορηγέω (see below). The articular present participle ὁ ἐπιχορηγῶν is substantival and the subject of the future-tense verbs below. 

ὁ σπόρος (6x) is, “kernel”, “seed” (BDAG; cf. English spore). σπόρον is the direct object of ἐπιχορηγέω above; the anarthrous noun is collective (i.e., “seed”, not “a seed”). The articular present participle τῷ σπείροντι (from σπείρω) is substantival and the indirect object of ἐπιχορηγέω. The parallel with βρῶσις (“eating”) below ‘suggests that τῷ σπείροντι (literally, “for the sower”) may be a case of “concrete for abstract,” meaning “for sowing”’ (NIGTC). 

ἡ βρῶσις (11x) is, “[the act of] eating” (BDAG), from τό βρῶμα (17x) “food” (cf. βιβρώσκω, 1x, “I eat”). Grammatically, ἄρτον could go with χορηγέω below, but Isaiah 55:10 tell us that ἄρτον is a second direct object of ἐπιχορηγέω above. The prepositional phrase εἰς βρῶσιν modifies ἄρτον and indicates purpose. 

χορηγέω (2x) is, “provide, supply” (BDAG), from ὁ χορός + ἄγω; the term originally meant, “I lead a chorus”, in the sense of, “pay the expenses for training a chorus” (BDAG), but later to the act of provision in general. Most translations render χορηγέω in the same way ἐπιχορηγέω above, although CGT says that the compound form denotes a higher degree of ‘liberality’, while admitting that ‘there is perhaps not much difference here’. NIGTC says that the simple χορηγέω adopts the same connotation as the earlier, compounded ἐπιχορηγέω. 

πληθύνω (12x) is, “I increase, multiply” (BDAG), from τό πλῆθος “a multitude”; NIV: “enlarge”. ὁ ἐπιχορηγῶν above is the subject of the future-tense verbs χορηγήσει and πληθυνεῖ (the tense-formative sigma disappears in this nasal future). τὸν σπόρον (“seed”; see above) is the direct object of both verbs. ὑμῶν is a possessive genitive. 

τό γένημα (4x), from the aorist root of γίνομαι, is “produce, fruit, crop” (not to be confused with τό γέννημα, 4x, “offspring”, from γεννάω); most translations: “harvest”. τὰ γενήματα is the direct object of the future αὐξήσει (from αὐξάνω; when transitive, “I cause to grow”), and ὁ ἐπιχορηγῶν above is the subject. The genitive τῆς δικαιοσύνης is subjective (“harvest produced by your righteousness”); “righteousness” here probably refers to the specific virtue of generosity (so NLT); NIGTC: “benevolence” or “acts of charity”. The imagery resembles Hosea 10:12 (σπείρατε ἑαυτοῖς εἰς δικαιοσύνην “sow righteousness for yourselves”). ὑμῶν is a possessive or subjective genitive.

The preposition ἐν with substantival παντὶ (“in every way”, most translations; NASB: “in everything”) indicates reference/respect with the present passive participle πλουτιζόμενοι (from πλουτίζω “I make rich”; see note on 6:10; most translations: “enriched”). The nearest plural verb for the participle to modify is περισσεύητε of verse 8; this is so remote that some commentators take verses 9 through 10 as a parenthetical. The participle is generally translated as an indicative verb, or periphrastic with an implied ἐστε (or future ἔσεσθε). πᾶσαν modifying ἁπλότητα (“simplicity, sincerity”; see note on 1:12) could denote diversity (“generosity of every kind”) or degree (“the greatest generosity”; NIGTC). The preposition εἰς denotes purpose (“so that you may be generous”, NET); see note on 8:2 for translation possibilities with this noun (most translations: “generosity/generous”; NASB: “liberality”). 

The antecedent of the indefinite relative pronoun ἥτις is ἁπλότητα; the indefinite pronoun may be qualitative (“which is of such a nature that”) or perhaps indicate result (“such that”; cf. Zerwick §215). ἥτις is the subject of the present κατεργάζεται (from κατεργάζομαι “I produce”), and εὐχαριστίαν (“thanksgiving”; see note on 4:15) is the direct object. τῷ θεῷ could modify the verb κατεργάζεται indicating advantage but more likely modifies the noun εὐχαριστίαν (CGT: ‘substantives derived from verbs which govern a dative are often followed by a dative rather than the usual genitive’). The prepositional phrase διʼ ἡμῶν indicates means, and probably refers to Paul’s administration of the fund and/or delivery of it to the saints of Jerusalem; if so, the present-tense of the verb is futuristic.

ὅτι is causal (“for”; NET: “because”). 

The οὐ μόνον ... ἀλλὰ καὶ (“not only ... but also”) construction emphatically ‘specifies the twofold harvest of the Corinthian δικαιοσύνη’ (NIGTC); the construction places more importance on the latter half. 

ἡ διακονία (“service, ministry”) is the subject of the present ἐστὶν (from εἰμί). 

ἡ λειτουργία (6x) is, “service, ministry”, from λειτουργέω (3x) “I serve, minister” (cf. ὁ λειτουργός, 5x, “servant, minister”); BDAG: “help, assistance”. The term derives from ὁ λαός + τό ἔργον, literally “work for the people”, and referred to public service or priestly work. The genitive τῆς λειτουργίας, modified by near-demonstrative pronoun ταύτης referring to the present collection, could be epexegetical with ἡ διακονία above, in which case λειτουργία is specifying more precisely the nature of the ministry (“the ministry consisting of this public service”), or it could be objective (“the administration of this service”). 

προσαναπληρόω (2x, both in 2 Cor.) is from πρός + ἀναπληρόω (6x) “I fill up” (ἀνά + πληρόω); the προς- prefix denotes, “fill up by adding to”, “fill in addition”; BDAG: “replenish”, “supply”; NET: “providing for”. The present feminine participle προσαναπληροῦσα is periphrastic with ἐστὶν, the subject of which is ἡ διακονία above. τὰ ὑστερήματα (“lack, need”; see note on 8:14), modified by subjective genitive τῶν ἁγίων, is the direct object of the participle. The present-tense of the participle may be futuristic (Findlayson). 

The present feminine participle περισσεύουσα (from περισσεύω “I abound, overflow”) is also periphrastic with ἐστὶν above; περισσεύω continues the imagery from προσαναπληρόω (“filling up ... overflowing”). The preposition διὰ here with εὐχαριστιῶν (“thanksgiving”; see note on 4:15) could denote attendant circumstance (“overflows with many thanksgivings”, NRSV; sim. NET), agency (ICC), or locality (NIGTC); the plural noun denotes “many acts of thanksgiving” (HCSB), “many expressions of thanks” (NIV). πολλῶν is attributive.
