meanwhile i guess to get to the actual stuff of the second movie, anakin is doing GR8 but he has to marry for reasons i guess (maaybe like for heir stuff even though this version of anakin would be completely not interested in women) and you know all his female fanon favorite love interests are his options and i guess Padmé can be the princess he gets along with the most, even though there's no spark because he's just not interested in women but he's trying because he's fallen in love with his country and he wants to do right by it even if the thought of a marriage at the tender age of 21 to someone he's never going to like the way he should is killing him on the inside :<

meanwhile meanwhile, obi-wan and his grandfather dooku are loosely planning to take over the government or something? obi-wan doesn't really know or feel that strongly about it but dooku has tied up his inheritance money to this scheme and obi-wan's inheritance money is already promised to like twenty different charities and a part of their pooled funding and Dooku would never leave that money there if it were actually his, so Obi-Wan is going to go along with whatever the plan is like he has a gun to his head.
