I really do prefer my cishet aunt's "they should just keep to themselves but like not my business tho" homophobia to my bi mom's internalised "every gay should adhere to my personal weird standards otherwise they deserve to be treated poorly" internalised homophobia 🙄

At least my aunt can keep her politics to herself, ironically enough.
