               the  sun  kissed  her  face  as  she  exited  the  post  office  ,  the  crisp  mystic  falls  air  welcome  after  the  stuffiness  of  the  building  she’d  just  left  .  pulling  her  sleeves  down  further  over  her  hands  ,  she  tilted  her  head  back  and  inhaled  the  cool  breeze  before  putting  her  mail  in  her  messenger  bag  .  perhaps  she’d  go  to  the  nearby  park  and  work  on  her  latest  draft  ;  with  that  in  mind  ,  she  headed  that  way  ,  worn  converse  leaving  soft  footfalls  on  the  sidewalk  .  she'd  only  just  arrived  at  the  essentially  abandoned  park  when  she  spotted  someone  out  of  the  corner  of  her  eye  .  @salvatoraes​  was  near  the  woods  ,  his  unexpected  appearance  startling  her  .  she  caught  a  hint  of  red  near  his  face  ,  her  inherent  need  to  care  for  others  warring  with  self-preservation  instincts  .  her  nurturing  side  won  out  ,  and  she  approached  him  cautiously  ,  dark  gaze  gentle  .   ‘  i’m  sorry  to  bother  you  ,  but  are  you  okay  ?  ’

                     ‘  why  are  you  bleeding  ?   do  you  need  help  ?  ’
