#not because i hate kids i think kids are epic #sorry i'm doing some work training now and oh man #actually working in a childcare facility makes you feel evil enough cuz you see like. literally how all of society seems like #designed with a computer algorithm to make things as traumatizing as possible for kids. and then how to make YOU feel directly complicit in #it in every single way #but doing the actual trainings it's like. oh my g0ddddddd #hey you know what would be a great way to make all this advice and use of psychological and developmental studies on children like. actually #practically all of the time ? if the fucking nuclear family didn't exist. #if their parents or other caretakers didn't have to work for most hours of their lives and come home drained and exhausted #just to provide for the kids basic needs #am i saying that would solve every problem with childcare immediately ? no #kids like all other aspects of like human life are deeply complicated seeing as they're Literal People #but it would be a fucking start !!!!!! has nobody considered that it would be at least a good jumping off point !!!!!!!! just saying !!!!!!
