Book asks ~ 2️⃣3️⃣🤢☕❗
Hiya, Bell! ❤
2️⃣ what's a duology you always recommend because it's awesome?
Answered here.
3️⃣ what's a trilogy you always recommend because it's awesome?
The Lord of the Rings. THE LORD OF THE RINGS *bangs fist on the table*
It's my favourite series of all time, and I am looking for more people to wring in the beautiful world of LOTR with me.
Oh, and the KOTW Trilogy too, I know it isn't complete, but it's still a trilogy and I have annoyed multiple people into reading it and I have no regrets. 🤭
(Sometimes the Grisha Trilogy too, but not really because it's otherworldly good but just so I can get people to meet the loml Nikolai Lantsov.)
🤢 what's a popular ship you despise, and why?
Answered here.
☕️ drop a HOT unpopular opinion about a book/character. be savage.
Okay, I had initially put this as the answer to a question about popular book I dislike from @quinlars (thought I'd tag you Bea because I changed that answer post), but I feel like it doesn't belong there, because I don't regret reading it, and still think it's a good book. So I'm putting it here instead, I think it fits more.
I didn't love the King of Scars duology, but especially Rule of Wolves. Everyone seems to love it, and while I didn't hate it, (it was a 3-star book for me), I was mildly disappointed. I honestly expected much better, because a) I loved SoC so much, and, b) Nikolai has been my top book boyfriend for YEARS. I LOVE HIM. And still do, even after the duology. But I feel like this book, or the first, didn't need so many characters. I definitely think we should have been given our Helnik endgame and left the SoC characters in their duology (ig that will just stay in my head), and focused on Nikolai's group in the duology. With so many characters, this duology didn't seem his anymore, when that was what I had come for. Also, *someone* comes back in this book, and oh god, I hated that plot point with a passion. That was just straight up lazy.
Anyway, I did enjoy the Zoyalai bits, and basically everytime Nikolai was on the page. But I really wanted to love this duology and didn't.
And for a character (don't worry I'll keep this one short 💀) : The world shits way too much on a) James Potter, and b) Fleur Delacour.
❗️what's your most anticipated release for 2022!!!
To no one's surprise: KOTW 3. 🤡
(And not really a release, but I feel like we'll find out who's book will be next in the ACOTAR series and I look forward to it, so I can atleast stop seeing people argue about it. 🤲
But then again, they would move on to other topics of screaming at people. The ships)
