So, this Hunger Games AU was one of the earliest WIPs I followed and kept up with when I was getting into Reylo, and holy shit. It’s amazing. It follows Catching Fire/ Mockingjay more than it follows just the games alone, but it is absolutely perfect in every way, and if I get the time, I’m gonna reread this. 

2)  Days to Remember Rated E by maq_moon

Aight so it’s a Titanic AU, which I am a hoe for, and there’s a metric fuck ton of research put into it, too. This one is another favorite of mine. Like all time favorite that I read before I was really a part of the fandom and just quietly screamed about. Guess it’s better late than never to yell about it now. 

3) Sun, Sand, and Stone by Black_eyed_Suzannah_Q @black-eyed-suzannah-q Rated E;

Dude. Dystopian AUs are lowkey my shit. And this one was fucking riveting. Binge worthy material. I’m a terrible binge reader, mind you, but this mad max vibing fic just... I managed to binge at least five chapters at a time, and that’s something for me. 

4) Hiraeth by Melusine11 Rated M

PIRATES!!! I haven’t really read that many pirate AUs, but if you wanna read something that balances comedy, angst, and canon lines perfectly then this is great! Also the research! It’s excellently done and the author’s putting so much effort into it, it deserves more attention.

5) When the Moon met the Sun in the Sky Rated E by rebelrebel @rebelrebelreylo

Oh my god. oh my god oh my goD. Dude. This one I binged in one night. I adore it. I was suckered in. It’s so vivid, and it’s atmospheric as hell, and I was so easily suckered into it.. I absolutely adore this fic, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Yeah, I’m gonna rec Fetch, this fic has reached meme status -- or at least, those adidas tracksuits have. I’m a hoe for atmosphere and snow in fics and well, it’s Russia. There’s an abundance of snow. This wasn’t a slow burn like I’m usually into but JESUS LORD. I love it! It’s just fucking baller. Also all the fucking research the author poured into it like jesus CHRIST DUDE mad respect. 

7) Broken Accidental Stars Rated M by HarpiaHarpyja @thisgarbagepicker

HELLO CANON DIVERGENCE! In this ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE Ben goes with Han on Starkiller Base and it is... so fucking good. It feels like the movie that TLJ would’ve been if Han had lived. It’s perfect, please read it. 

8) A Strong Heart and a Nerve of Steel Rated E by destinies @destinieswritten

A MARRIED IN VEGAS AU! I am secretly a whore for this trope so um?? This was up my alley and I binged it during Thanksgiving. Sorry, family. It may not have updated in a minute, but what’s out there already is fucking lit and I love it dearly. 

9) Creature of Darkness Rated E by Bunilicious @bunilicious

Aight kids, so this is a Sleepy Hollow AU and it’s fucking amazing. It’s got that air of mystery and suspense you don’t know you need but trust me you do. This is another one I remember binge reading and adoring... also CHURCH SEX!

10) Something Wicked Rated E by Violethoure666

Probably the first actors AU I read for this fandom. I think it’s also the first WIP I actually followed, and if not, it’s close to that. Either way it made my all time favorites list almost immediately. It’s just so fucking AWESOME. Like everything else here, I can’t say enough nice things about it, other than READ IT. 

11) Strangers in the Night Rated E by ReyloRobyn2011 @reysexualkylo

It’s a stranger things au! And it’s a lot of fun! This does a good job at paying tribute to its source material while feeling original and true to itself all the same. It’s fairly short and it’s super sweet and I BINGED.

12) It’s Lights Out and Away We Go Rated M by StateYourCase @stateyourcase

A formula one racing AU! This one is fun, the action is gripping the character development is 10/10 and I’m currently behind on it but shit dude this is a fun read.
