#okay for real how do people get mad when people are new at their job and still learning. like. be glad you get to be part of their education #as long as you've got a senior employee nearby to double check with so you're not getting fucked over by mistake #like. especially if you've done the thing long enough to know what you're doing? you get to teach them and that's wonderful #when I started as a cashier I loved the customers who helped walk me through things when I wasn't sure. #and as a customer I love standing by and being the object lesson for someone else to get taught with. #I love getting to be a part of someone's experience learning and growing more capable. to be a part of someone beginning more independent #to be part of someone learning to do something competently on their own. #like. do you not remember when you were still learning? do you not remember what it feels like to not know? #do you not remember what it feels like to make a mistake and need to ask for patience as you fix it? #are you genuinely so blind that you cannot recognize another human being engaging in the mortifying ordeal of trying their best? #anyway the guy at the car shop was still learning how to do the paperwork side of it and it was cool to see the student teacher interaction
