Jem is tight

So basically, Atticus found out what happen to mrs. Dubose camellias and aprooched Nek about it. Jem explained exactly how disrespectful Mrs. Dubose , However Atticus told Jem to apologize to her. Mannnni was shook when that flew out his mouth. “Say sorry “to that old gage for what? I mean I think Jem kinda ha e a right to snap for the the simple facts she’s tearing down the people we love and care about, so I guess she got a taste of her own medicine. I never understood why Atticus let people talk bad about him? Like Jem, your son is standing up for you and you put him in a situation to this old lady to say sorry to her. I dint get it , it’s backwards math in my little brain. Atticus just told me there’s more worst things in the world to worry about instead of a petty situation like that and how maybe when he get older we can understand the true reality of life and how it affects and blah blah nah. He also told me that I had to respect others opinions even if you don’t agree with them , you can agree to disagree. I mean, hey he’s Atticus so he also coming with something that’s gon keep me outta trouble. When Jem got back from Mrs. Dubose house, he said he said sorry and cleaned up the miss he made. He even said she wants him to read to her every Saturday and every afternoon after school . The sad thing about it he has to do it for a month. He had to basically read to a old, pale and smelly Zombie which is sicken. He was so tight because he had to be punished for something Mrs Dubose started in the first place. It sucks , but as Atticus says you have to be the bigger person sometimes and don’t let things get to you. Words can’t hurt a soul unless you let them and therefore Jem let her. I’ll be a bad sister if I laughed at him , but I didn’t- I went to visit Mrs. Dubose with Jem so he won’t have to deal with her by himself. - ScoutBandz
