Ugh, it forever pains me that Andrew never got his 3rd movie. Exactly, the queer characters feel disrespectful to an extent because it kinda ignores that sexuality is fluid and changes. It can't be defined really, which is why having designated characters for it doesn't really work ykyk. And then they have Gale do what she was known for in the first movie: profit off the tragedy, then they're back at square one with each other but with enough background to actually put their growth into motion in 2. Like I said, Sam just does it because she feels like she needs to, there is no individual motivation in what she does in 5 or 6 to justify her and Tara growing closer again. Yeah I heard that, aside from dealing with bad scripts and poor reception on their movies, the actors arent treated the best by Marvel.
