rip i really wanted to draw birds today but it's almost half past 7 pm and there's still a lot of cleaning i need to do

#i want to learn to draw birds in interesting poses that show how they are funny little creatures full of personality #and i've been thinking that doodling a lot of birds fast and loose from reference might be the way to go about that #and there would probably be a lot of good pictures available of pigeons and chickens #maybe tomorrow... #i wish it was later in the spring and there wasn't so much snow anymore #then i could maybe live draw my family's own chickens outside #(the chickenhouse does not feel like an inviting place to sit down and draw)
