oh god the horrors are so bad tonight

#my family is so fucking screwed up it's a wonder i've made it this far in life without genuinely needing to be institutionalized #and i have nobody on the whole entire earth to talk to about it. so you guys are getting my diary entry i guess #i get lulled into a sense of false security and then an episode like this happens #and i'm like oh yeah! no wonder i have incredible anger issues and commitment issues and vulnerability issues #growing up in this fucking volatile household every day of my goddamn life trying to run interference #and be a therapist and a marriage counselor and a mother and a best friend and a husband and every role a human could ever play #now wonder i have no sense of my own identity. no wonder i idolize true love while simultaneously not believing it exists #anyways. i need a cigarette or something. #we persist #delete later
